Visiting some friends in March. We popped in originally just for drinks, but when we saw food leaving the kitchen, we had to order. I had giant Yorkshire pudding, sausage and mash, which was spectacular. One of my friends had a burger which was a proper burger, none of this McDonald's thin cheap meat. The other had a large mixed grill, which was very impressive and almost made me jealous. The food did take a little while to come out but there were cooking everything to order, and I was enjoying me Ale so I didn't mind.

might have well been closed - better off closed - amateur food cooking and people playing at running a 'restaurant'!

Wow...what a meal!. Fish and chips cooked to perfection, the actual serving plates were a delight on their own. The service was first class afforded by a very lovely and friendly "young woman". The ambiance so refreshing, in fact it was a perfect time spent. If you want to be spoilt, Frydays it is!!....

Been in the past and had good service, but it would seem they don't really want customers now as they don't put opening times on their website.

The best Indian resturant in Peterbrough, trust me I go to this place every week.

This has to be the worst service I have ever had. Manager rude, food cold, raw, poor quality and basically disgusting. Rubbish delivery service, they said 45 mins and it took an hour and a half, It should come with a warning. I will be calling the public health team at the council in the morning.

Very poor quality. Food cold, mushy peas are not, they are processed (even though I was assured they were). Greasy fish will not repeat the experience, suggest you give it a miss.

The Indian curry is my favourite food. I always go to Ali's balti House Indian restaurant Peterbrough for my food. The best in town, give it a try.

We've eaten at the Mill twice in the last fortnight, we are going again today, taking our parents to enjoy the beautiful new restaurant with lovely happy staff gorgeous food from a great menu. Wonderful atmosphere. Only slight downside the upgraded ladies toilet facilities will not stay nice for long if the cleaners continue to fall short with their cleaning skills, I could teach them a thing or two.

I always come a long way to eat at the best Indian restaurant now for 15 years. Since this little place opened I lived up at St Pauls Road and Ali's Balti House is still my number one.

I thought I'd been to some of the best chip shops in the country but then I moved to Crowland. Wow was I glad I found this one, the best I've been to so far without a doubt. Not all greasy and old chips but fresh and you can order to pick up. Very friendly people.

Gone down hill. My first visit I couldn't fault but visited a second time Sunday gone. The food was cold and dry.not enough gravy. Whilst I appreciate the amount of gravy is an individual taste it could have been supplied desperately in a gravy boat. But no excuse for serving cold food..Pity the poor food lets your excellent staff down.

Alis Balti House in Peterborough is one best food place in the city. We went as a group, we got best service and food, compliments to the chef .

Totally agree with recent review. Awful, absolutely awful - table dirty,waitress uniform grubby, toilet stank,food nearly cold and trays empty a lot of the time did raise points with owner as our friend didn't eat, we asked if as a token of goodwill she would waiver his meal price but she would have none of it.None of us would ever recommend going there.

Had a great time here, will be going on sunday for 2 people's birthday, hope it will keep up its standard

In there yesterday wonderful pub friendly and inviting 8 handpumps real cider craft lager and a good choice of single malts. Food wise it was tikka flavored scotch eggs looked wonderful.
