Despite its good reputation our meal was very disappointing. Neither on the starters nor the main course were any of the foods cooked adequately and everything was showered in salt. Even the stem ginger ice cream was lacking any ginger!

We had a superb meal in the cosy cellar bar. Lovely atmosphere and music and such lovely staff. The food was really excellent and a great considered menu . Excellent value for a lovely evening drinks and meal
