Food fabulous as always, staff friendly & efficient, just could do with better decor to create a bit of a cosier atmosphere. But we always enjoy our food here.

The Last Inn – NewportHad a lovely experience
The Last Inn – NewportWent on the 7th march Group of 4 we all had a lovely meal and good value for money Service was very efficient It was for some reason a quiet night which did make it a little strange but other than that a lovely place to have a meal Will definitely be returning
The Last Inn – NewportVisited on 14th February (Valentine’s Day) with my partner and our two girls. We arrived at 5pm for our table booking and were seated promptly. However, we quickly realised how cold it was inside the restaurant — so much so that my partner kept her coat on throughout. I mentioned this to staff and was told the heating would be turned up, but unfortunately it never seemed to improve. For starters, I had the chicken wings, which were nice but nothing special. My partner had the camembert and said it was lovely. The kids had garlic bread, which was just okay. Our mains arrived quite quickly. I ordered the Last Inn burger and fries, my partner had the chicken and prawn linguine, and the kids had mac and cheese. Sadly, this is where the experience really went downhill. My burger was extremely dry — I couldn’t finish it. My partner’s linguine was very oily, and the kids’ mac and cheese was also very dry with no creaminess at all, as if it had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. By this point we were still cold and very disappointed, so we decided to leave. What was meant to be a lovely Valentine’s meal was completely ruined. When the bill arrived, we were initially expected to pay in full despite most of the food being left on our plates. It was only after I challenged this and explained how dry the meals were that they removed the burger — but still charged for the chips. Overall, a very disappointing experience on what should have been a special evening.
The Last Inn – NewportMyself and partner thought we would give the last inn a try… we are so glad we did every bit of the food tastes lovely.. the puddings were just as good as the main meals too…
The Last Inn – NewportVery generous offer of £40 following a serious failure last year. The food and atmosphere were very good. Although a limited choice and the Vegan offer from previous was poor. The pub is not really accessible im in a wheelchair. Although you can access it via a back entrance through a very scruffy unkempt yard. It's a shame the ramp outside is stepped
The Last Inn – NewportWe enjoyed a fabulous Boxing Day lunch here all 7 of us. Service impeccable and quick despite all the tables being full. Food was tasty and lots of choice. No negatives just a lovely positive experience. Thank you to all the hard working staff at The Last Inn
The Last Inn – NewportHad our Christmas Day meal there. The food was excellent, beautifully cooked and well presented, and the service was excellent from start to finish. Everything was cooked to perfection and staff were extremely attentive, friendly, and helpful and welcoming . We were not at all rushed and there was no pressure to leave once we’d finished eating. Very reasonably priced for Christmas Day. Will definitely return. Thank you to all the team at The Last for making our visit so enjoyable.
The Last Inn – NewportWe had Christmas Lunch at The Last Inn this year. The food was nice and it was great that the food choices that had been submitted were noted. However we were disappointed with service. We were surprised as previous experiences there had been very good. On this occasion, the service was appalling. We ordered a bottle of white wine which was basically dumped at the edge of the table, no chiller provided, no checking that it was okay or the right one. This was followed by plates of food dumped once more in the same way. Servers huffing as they did so, no smiling at all, resulting in a poor dining experience. The server who cleared our table at the end was different, she was smiling, attentive and friendly. The planning of bookings was well organised; a good flow of tables being filled which allowed the servers to not be overstretched. All the more surprising for the poor service. Overall a disappointing Christmas Day unfortunately.
The Last Inn – NewportThe food on Christmas Eve was excellent. We all had three courses and prosecco as part of the Christmas Fayre special. Every course was delicious, perfectly cooked and piping hot, the calamari and the pie in particular were fabulous. Will and the other server were great, really attentive, great attitudes and full of Christmas spirit. I would highly recommend this venue for a great atmosphere and delicious food.
The Last Inn – NewportWe had our Christmas party here for 40 people. The food was absolutely delicious and plenty of it. The staff and services were excellent and everyone enjoyed it all. Fantastic time and thanks to you all

The Last Inn – NewportMy two friends and myself had a lovely Xmas meal at the Last yesterday. The food was excellent, the staff were attentive and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. This is one of my favourite places to eat in Telford, the food is amazing!
The Last Inn – NewportFour of us ate from the Christmas Festive menu. It was all delicious. Service was good. Sad the pub was empty on a Saturday night? Puzzled because the food I would highly recommend.
