Excellent friendly family run Inn&restaurant, all food prepared and cooked by the owners,Ann & Pete Warren .There is only one way to prove the quality that there is in this little "Gem" ,go visit the "Eagle"as I have done, enjoy a drink of Welsh traditional Beer's or Spirit's there, is a good selection of wine to accompany the perfect meal ,I am sure that you will leave well and truly satisfied with that.,call again feeling ,as I do.

I have visted The Ship Inn over the last 21 Years. I have seen this place at it's best and at it's worst. The current owner "Brains Brewery" has to be by far the worst occupier this little gem of a pub has ever had. The staff are rude, uncooperative and inexperienced in the running of this pub. The spirit of Tresaith is dead without this pub, it has been the focal point of the village and wider community for decades and within a few months, 'Brains Staff' have killed it off - hey what else is it good for, other than a TAX LOSS. DON'T VISIT THE SHIP INN TRESAITH, SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO TO ABERPORTH - It has a Ship Inn and it is run by a family, with spirit.

This is a most welcoming pub which serves a good range of local beers and home made foods. Brian, the landlord, is always on hand to welcome both regulars and visitors. We have visited this pub for many years when on summer holiday. The pub is close to Poppit Sands beach and the pretty village of Saint Dogmaels. Well worth a visit. A friendly and comfortable pub. Recommended by David and Jacqueline Parce.

We found the Castle Kitchen by accident, looking for a cuppa when visiting the Castle. We went back for lunch, and have continued to revisit each time we holiday in Pembrokeshire. It's a quiet and restful place to eat, with food and service that I simply haven't experienced anywhere else. Pat and Mary Browne do everything wonderfully, and share it with you calmly but confidently. They know how good their food is! It's a privilege to eat there: the menu is small, but everything on it is worth the time and money. There are more expensive restaurants, and places where the staff rush and bustle. You are welcome: I'll go to Cilgerran!

We visited Penllwynddu, Llangoedmor, for Easter Sunday lunch and received a very friendly welcome. We sat and had a drink in the garden first and were then shown into their clean and cosy restaurant. Lunch was well presented and delicious - we shall be coming again soon.

Location wise you cannot get a better restaurant. Get there early to have a window seat looking out across the sea to watch the setting sun. Add to this good company and the good beer and food and you've got the best restaurant in the Britain.
