Recently got the chance to dine at The Copper Pot, a place we've been eagerly waiting to visit. Unfortunately, they didn't have Sunday roast that day, but no worries because the menu had plenty of other delicious options. The food surpassed all expectations, surpassing the local standards and our own anticipation. However, the service was a letdown - it lacked enthusiasm and attentiveness. Now, let's highlight the highlights - the food was simply incredible. Every dish served showcased top-notch culinary skills and left us craving more. From the beautiful presentation to the exquisite flavors, it was clear that the chefs took pride in their creations. The quality of the food truly stood out, making it well worth the visit. Sadly, the same cannot be said for the service. The staff member seemed disinterested and failed to interact with us throughout the meal. They forgot to refill our drinks and didn't bother asking if we wanted desserts. It was like we were invisible in our seats. The lack of attention and friendliness dampened the overall experience. Moving on to the pub's ambiance, it was alright but nothing too extraordinary. The decor was pleasant enough, serving as a decent backdrop for the meal. The best part, however, was the surprisingly reasonable prices. Considering the exceptional quality of the food, it was a pleasant surprise to find that our wallets weren't left empty. To sum it up, The Copper Pot delivered mouthwatering food that exceeded expectations. Unfortunately, the lackluster service overshadowed an otherwise fantastic experience. The prices were fair, and the ambiance was decent, but the restaurant needs to work on improving their customer interaction to truly elevate their offering.

Food was fantastic with proper portion sizes. Staff were very friendly. Only issue was the booking system allowed us to reserve a table, but we're told was fully booked on arrival - however a bit of a jiggle round and we were accommodated.

Excellent food best burger we have had out. The chips were delicious nice to have thin ones I hate chunky chips. Cocktails were also lovely and very well presented. Staff friendly, efficient and not constantly checking on us so that was great. Definitely recommend and come again.

Food excellent we had Salt and Pepper squid and Chicken thighs to start. Followed by the special of the day which was roasted salmon. Couldn’t fault the service staff were polite and friendly

Made to feel welcome as soon as you go through the door,Food is yummy. The new owner has only been there 8 weeks but what she has achieved in just a short time!.Hope to return sometime to see the finished dinning room! All the very best for the future.
