Excellent food and very friendly staff. One of the best restaurants in Carlisle area. Never disappointed.

Four of us had a lovely meal, food was amazing, service was great. Couldn’t ask for more. It was very noisy but very busy so understandable. We will definitely be back.

Always a favourite for me and family although the lasagne did not appear to have as much meat in .. a lot of cheese ! Not a complaint just an observation from my partner

Easy to book online. Fantastic service, attentive friendly staff. Food was excellent and they tried hard to cater for a dairy intolerance. We don't come often but know it will always a good meal here

I’ve eaten at Sage and Vine a few times but this was the first time with our son and daughter-in-law. I’d wanted them to eat here for ages and we booked this visit for my son’s birthday, so I was hoping it wouldn’t disappoint. I needn’t have worried, however. The food, the service and the atmosphere were as brilliant as ever.

Absolutely lovely - lovely cosy restaurant, food is delicious and the staff are excellent. Love the pizza and their affogato is exceptional. They never hurry you, we did stay for ages and when the next booking arrived we sat at the bar and had another drink. Highly recommend.
