Excellent meal at La-Mezzaluna. Mussels shared as a starter were cooked well, in a nice spicy liquor. Chicken and Asparagus was so good, mixed veg was fresh and cooked to perfection, which is rare. Banana and Maple syrup Pancakes, rich and moreish. Nice bottle of white wine and the Espresso Martini was made very well. I'm quite picky, and will express my opinion if not 100% happy, but couldn't fault the food. It was a special occasion and the meal was one to remember. Not our first visit, always thrilled with the food, we will be back soon.

Took my daughter for lunch on her day off. (I have been to Sage and Vine on an evening and loved it). Laura was blown away and just kept saying how amazing everything was. We had six small plates?? (not very small). They were generous enough for us both to enjoy portions of all the perfectly prepared food. Made from scratch and obviously with love. Service was perfect… staff were superb and attended unobtrusively to our every need. Can’t wait to go back again…

Great place to eat, not a big restaurant but plenty of atmosphere and extremely welcoming and helpful staff; food was excellent and leftovers could be taken home in a box! Would definitely recommend.

I have eaten at La Mezzaluna many times and it has always been of the highest quality and the food is delicious.

Lovely food, fantastic staff and a great atmosphere. We actually overdid it - we don't usually eat three courses, but it was so delicious we couldn't resist! The chicken was cooked to perfection. We could easily have eaten here for every night of our holiday, except it isn't open on a Sunday. The hospitality was spot on.

We were staying nearby at the campsite and popped in for Sunday dinner. We both had a brilliant roast dinner, lovely lively atmosphere. I wish we had a pub like this in our village.

We went for Sunday lunch, the staff couldn’t do enough for you and always went above and beyond. The food was amazing, I never clear a plate and cleared both main and dessert. The pub itself is clean and well presented can’t fault at all. Definitely recommend to anyone! Outstanding all round!

Lovely friendly village pub, warm and welcoming. Lots of choices on the menu and reasonably priced. Also dog friendly, a real bonus for us, as we were passing through on route to Scotland. As I had had dental surgery the day previously and needed something soft to eat - the chef cooked me mince, mash and veg ( not on the menu, that night) Absolutely delicious and very much appreciated. Thankyou.

We dined on a Saturday afternoon, lovely decor and ambience, staff helpful, friendly and attentive, great drink choices, lovely menu, prices reasonable, portion sizes good for tapas . We booked table online, toilets clean and tidy, no rush for us to vacate table. Would definitely recommend and will definitely return.

We lucked upon this fantastic restaurant during a stay in Carlisle. As soon as we walked through the door we were met with the friendliest service. The selection was broad and everything was delicious and presented really well. Value excellent and generous portions. Would highly recommend.
