I live in Canada and when I come home my first place of call is the Cheshire Line Tavern. I love this place, the food is the best and the staff are outstanding as is the beer. I will be back there again soon. I tell every one about this place, Its so good.Bill.

My friend and I wonderful meal last night at the grill. The service and food was supberb.We will definitely return.

All the comments seem to be compimentary. However, During December My wife and I ordered fillet steak. I'm not normally a beefeater but on this occasion I was persuded to try the steak. What a disappointment , Tough and overcooked. When I compained I was told I would only be charged dor one meal rather than take my complaint to the chef who I was told is rather sensitive to criticism. In contrast, my birthday celebration at the Church was excellent . All 16 of us were well looked after. thank you especially the chef

Best 'pub' food I think I have ever tasted! Lovely atmosphere at any time of day or night 10/10.

I thought the service was good, the food was lovely as were the staff, I really enjoyed it. The mood and atmosphere was great and I would definitely recommend the Royal Oak to freinds and family and will be sure to visit again soon :) x

Sadly I had to attend a funeral wake at the Cheshire Line but the staff and the service made everything so much more easier for me. I had to arrive later than the other members of the party because I was working that day. The landlord put me at easy straight away and directed me to the other mouners. It is always a bit daunting walking in to pub as a female on her own and espexcially on a sad occasion but I felt the warm welcome as soon as I walked through the door.

My self and my fiancé love this place it is the best pub in Cheadle and the food is out standing the staff are always so welcoming and go out of there way to help you it's brilliant

We had 8 mains between 4 of us, and they were all truly amazing. Very authentic and tasted just like Turkey

I am a regular visitor to the Imperial in Cheadle .The food is great and the staff are wonderful. I can highly recommend this restaurant .See you soon everyone!!!!

Tuesday evening treat of dinner from boyfriend, where to go locally? Church Inn... The best decision ever!! The food was unbelievable, presented lovely, portions massive, service very friendly and comfortable. We just sat there all night saying to each other how amazing the food quality was! One of the nicest meals that we have had in a long long time!! Mussels to start, stunning sauce! with warm crusty bread... The portion was magnificent!, the pate was evenly portioned to the amount of bread you were given and chutney... Then came out the ribeye steaks!!! OMG! simply divine and huge piece, cooked to my personal liking, plates very hot, onion ring in beer batter were scrummy.. and the biggest jug of peppercorn sauce which was great for dipping the remaining chips in! - It's so nice to have a lovely meal for great value in local surroundings, my partner felt it necessary to actually thank the chef in person and compliment him, so did I!! much needed tip was given on this occasion! Can't wait to go back next week, it is on my door step but dont always think to go... oh how I have changed my mind!!!

On visiting the queen arms for the the first time.(under new management).Pulled into an almost empty car park.Except for the the 3 dissability bays were all taken.Two places taken by non blue badge owners;I entered the pub and when I asked .The middle aged lady behind the bar was she the manager?;reply no.I then explained the above problemThe response was "One off the cars belonged to her.....The Mecedes"Reply from me want my space take my illness

Visited yesterday and was extremely impressed with service, food andTurkish wine. Have been to the restaurant in Didsbury several times before which my partner and I have also always enjoyed immensely.
