This has to be the best value meal i have ever had. I go 3 times a week now and every sunday. In all my times of eating out this is the best, and i mean the best. I have even booked my xmas dinner, 3 course. I was introduced to the mickerbrook two months ago and i would never go anywere else. I always bring my family on a sunday and i am bringing them for xmas dinner. Booked under the name of mc gillion. I like eating out and mickerbrook would take some beating. I would not go anywhere else now. Nice staff very friendly clean and very prompt. Fantastic value you could never cook it yourself for that price. When my family visit i bring them down on a Sunday. We were a party of 10 adults and one child on Saturday 24th October and would just like to say what a good time we had. The staff were pleasant and attentive, very helpful with the differing meal choices, giving advice on how items were cooked, the food was hot, everyone said how much they enjoyed their meals and we could not fault the service. Well done to all the staff and a big thank you for making the evening such a pleasant one

We had a meal at the Cheshire line tavern on 26th Sept. 11 of us, and each of us were really impressed. When we booked they knew it was for a birthday and the table was dressed up beautifully to make it special. The meals were served correctly, and all together, massive portions!! Would certainly recommend and we're looking at the Christmas menu. :-)

Rainbow 88 is not only a fantastic restaurant but Linda and all the staff do so much hard work in fund raising and the ladys nites are defo not to be missed

Rainbow 88 cannot be beaten - absolutely the best Chinese Restaurant in the country as far as we are concerned. We have celebrated every special occasion there and never miss the Chinese New Year and Karaoke nights. Linda truly is the hostess with the mostess. Highly recommended any lunchtime or night of the week.

all the food was all home cooked !!! no chicken ding. it was well presented and fresh . the staff were so helpful and polite . the pub had a lovely atmosphere with open fires . and total value for money !!!!! for hot home cooked fresh food . 10 out 10

we sat down in La Piazza at 9.10pm for a 9.15pm booking, We ordered a bottle of wine at 9.15pm. At 9.25pm we approached the bar, to be told the wine was on its way. We said we was ready to order food, and were told that he could not take our food order, and he would send some one over shortly, at 9.35pm we decided to leave. On the way out, we approached a member of staff at the desk, we said we were leaving as nobody had come over to take our order, she said the delay in our arrival of our drinks was that there was a problem with the bar, an we told her that we were still waiting to order food, and she said there was only one member of staff who could take the food order and that was her self. We told her that this obviously doesn't work, and she replied well it does actually. at that point we left "the customer is always right"

Visited this restaurant with friends who had travelled from America. Fabulous location and beautiful old country style pub. However the food leaves little to be desired. Recommend for a drink on a sunny afternoon but not for a meal.

Great authentic Italian restaurant that has recently re-opened. The menu has been tweaked but remains pretty much the same which is a big plus. Good atmosphere and great food, the ribs are especially good as are the steak dishes. The only negative I could find was that the courses were a little rushed with hardly any break in between which made us feel like we were being a little bit rushed. The food is excellent and the prices reasonable, £80 for 2 people for a 3 course meal (both had fillet steak) plus coffee, a decent bottle of red wine and a couple of Peroni's!

Positives - good atmosphere, tasty starters negatives - the worlds most uncomfortable chairs, warmed-up veggies

On the sad day of the funeral of my wife the manager and staff of this restaurant went the extra mile. They catered for 50 guests at very short notice. They were helpful and friendly. The food was very good and the price was fantastic. Thanks Guys

Excellent value for money and very efficient service.

I have used this place every week for the last 6 months. Since the refurb it has really improved. No locals as such lots of tourists and business men. Good choice of beers and a very good menu. Only problem when it's really busy the food can take a while.

Armenique has excellent service with Edward's expertise, he has made one of the best shops in Gatley . Armenique has a wide selection of choices to choose from it has freshley baked bread, cheeses, salads, deli, diabetic foods, mediterranean foods, meats and a wide variety of wines, beers and soft drinks. With the low prices you couldn’t go wrong, Edward the manger is great to get along with and all the other staff are friendly to and always have a smile on their faces.

We had a very enjoyable lunch, the food was far superior to that served by any of my local restaurants/pubs. We will certainly return again and also recommend it to our friends.Thankyou
