We stopped off at The Croft on our way back home after a weekend of camping at a car festival and we’re very happy to be able to get a table booked here. The food was incredible! The staff were lovely and friendly and the atmosphere was great! We will definitely be coming back with our daughters on a day out to Bourton!

Great food, lovely clean restaurant, nice staff and ok value for miney

We found this to be a quaint restaurant in Bourton-on-the-Water with friendly staff and delicious food. We shared the Croft Burger and nachos which we enjoyed. Sitting inside, we were able to escape the bustling crowd that visits on a weekend during school break. Thank you to the chef and staff for an enjoyable experience.

We had such a lovely meal at the croft last night. The young lady was really lovely and friendly. Service was great. Atmosphere was warm and inviting. We made this booking from New Zealand before we came on holiday, so we didn’t miss out. Hope to come back before we leave the UK. Highly recommend

We have visited the Croft a few times and usually always have fantastic service and a good meal. However yesterday, the meal was lovely but the service wasn’t great. Not anywhere near the usual standard we receive. We will be returning but hopefully it is better next time.

The environment was nice, we were early so the window seat was free for us. The view of the river was lovely. We ordered the squash soup as a stater, and cutlet chicken special and veg couscous as mains, the meals were delicious!!

We pre booked and had a very nice lunch. Service was warm and friendly, food arrived quickly and was very tasty. Our table had a nice view onto the river. Reasonably priced, would recommend.

The Croft is a real gem in Bourton. We went for dinner on Saturday night, and stopped by again for drinks with friends on Sunday. It was so lovely that the team remembered us from the previous night, it made us feel very welcome and special. The service both times was absolutely fantastic, really welcoming and polite staff, that are a genuine credit to the business, it's so nice to get pleasant, happy and competent staff who clearly enjoy their work. The food was brilliant too and portions were not small ! Perfect ! Thank you.

Great Burger, Great service!

Recently visited the first for breakfast on Monday morning. Although the food was good, the service we received was not great. There was a young girl, and boy in service and you could see the girl was completely working the whole room, she was great, but we had the boy serving us. I can only assume he was new. Unfortunately we didn't get offered any different type of bread when ordering our breakfast toast, we didn't receive any butter when it arrived, and we had to ask to order as the service was slow. At the end of the meal we decided to pay in cash, therefore decided to leave a big tip due to not wanting the change. Even though we left a big tip, the boy who took our change (as a tip) didn't really engage that we had tipped £7. No real goodbye or Thank you so left feeling a little disappointed.

We visited The Croft on Easter Sunday for our evening meal. Although the menu was a little restricted what we ate was well cooked and tasty. The service was friendly and speedy and the restaurant had a warm atmosphere. My only criticism is that it was a bit on the pricey side.

Very enjoyable lunch at this pretty restaurant right next to the river. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating and the fact that the restaurant was dog friendly was great for my old dog who enjoyed lying in everyone’s way and begging for snacks!! The food was great - I had a Caesar salad with halloumi which was the perfect mix of crisp fresh leaves, salty squeaky cheese and crunchy croutons (dog was a fan!) my dining companions both opted for the sub rolls, one seafood one steak, and again both looked delicious - generously filled with a nice side salad and fries. I would definitely recommend booking as the restaurant seemed very popular, but I wouldn’t hesitate to return and try other menu items.
