L’Anatra was wonderful, service, atmosphere and quality of food. Thank you.
Chester House Hotel – CheltenhamThe food, cocktails and service were amazing!!
Chester House Hotel – CheltenhamI recently organised a set meal on a Saturday evening for 13 our walking club as we were staying in the Cotswolds for the weekend. Jose was incredibly accommodating to take account of personal tastes and dietary requirements, and the pre-order and pre-payment was seamless. On the night, we all enjoyed our meals and appreciated the attentive service. The restaurant itself is beautiful, and we liked that we were all seated on one table. It felt like a very special evening. I can definitely recommend the sticky toffee pudding!
Chester House Hotel – CheltenhamWe’ve had an amazing lunch. Staff incredibly kind and helpful. Especially lady from Poland (sorry forgot her name). This lovely lady was so helpful with all of our allergy requirements and helped with birthday song too. We always have great food here and can’t fault any staff or chef. Love it
Chester House Hotel – CheltenhamWe enjoyed our lunch meals (truly delicious!!), and were impressed by the service here so much so that we came back the next night to L’Anatra for dinner!! Highly recommend to anyone that wants an excellent meal, in a lovely location, with wonderful staff.
Chester House Hotel – CheltenhamWe ate at the L’Aanatra kitchen and had a fabulous experience. Lovely atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff and very tasty food and wine.
Chester House Hotel – CheltenhamWhat a perfect ( and cozy) first meal in Burton!! We loved our cheerful waitress and our poke bowls.
The Croft Restaurant – CheltenhamThere is no more iconic spot in Bourton-on-the-Water than The Croft. The interior feels as homely as the barns you see dotting the Cotswold countryside, and check out all the signs for a giggle while you nosh. From your inside table, watch the insta shots being taken on the bridge. And from the patio, enjoy the afternoon sunshine. Our service has always been impeccable without a hint of poshness - just happy, helpful folks delivering the best food in town. So that leads us to the food...traditional breakfast die hard, not to worry, The Croft, the full English or the vegetarian English will fill you for the day. The avocado on toast is fresh and feels healthy. The Belgian waffle has had magic done to it. It comes out slightly candied on top. Roll your eyes back in your head and just savor every bite. The pretzel bap is a roll with panache! I start each day with a chai latte. I'm not sure the clock keeps ticking without one of those. Come back the next day for lunch. Burgers are served on that same delectable pretzel roll, and the thin and crispy fries feel very indulgent. I've heard they are the way of the young people, while the oldsters prefer the thick, hand cut chips. If these are any indication, the kids win! But try the poke bowls. You can't find anything else like them in the village. Fresh ingredients, flavorful combinations and you'll leave the table full without feeling stuffed. You still have space? Get an ice cream on weekends from the window by the river, grab a cake or scone and enjoy a cup of tea. This is your one stop shop for ambience, views, and exceptional food.
The Croft Restaurant – CheltenhamBooked a table for a special occasion, the table was not ready when we arrived! Poor! No explanation did not ask if we would like a drink whilst we wait! Rather than left just standing there we sat and waited!! Food 8/10 Service 7/10 Nothing special unfortunately! Would not recommend.
Chester House Hotel – CheltenhamGreeted by a friendly young man, given a window seat big tick! Food arrived promptly and was really nice.
The Croft Restaurant – CheltenhamGreat menu and everything was served hot and delicious
Chester House Hotel – CheltenhamSpaghetti Bolognese was wonderful! If you get lasagna, two people can split it unless they’re starving! Our only Complaint would be the chairs and tables as they were rather uncomfortable. Food wonderful
Chester House Hotel – CheltenhamBrilliant oasis of delight in a rather touristy place!
Chester House Hotel – CheltenhamFantastic food and service
Chester House Hotel – CheltenhamStayed B&B for 2 nights and stayed for dinner 1 night. Room was spacious and bed SUPER comfortable! Dinnerin the restaurant was really nice - fresh and tasty. Hotel and restaurant staff efficient and friendly. Would recommend both a stay and using the restaurant.
Chester House Hotel – CheltenhamWe have visited L’Antara at the Chester House on numerous occasions and have always enjoyed what was on offer but feel the menu should bring back the excellent chicken dish with the smooth cheese sauce. A favourite which has sadly been missing for a couple of years. On this occasion we were visiting on a short break. However, once we had the meal served, we noticed that no staff member came and asked how it was and whether we needed anything else. Pity as we couldn’t give our feedback. Hopefully, it will be different on our next visit.
