As expected fabulous food and great service ! Never disappointed and always leave full !

My husband and I had dinner on 21st October and everything was very nice! The staff were very attentive, food was excellent and the restaurant was nice and cosy. We had french onion soup, buffalo wings, steak, burger and a shandy and g&t.

Visited for a midweek evening meal. As always, friendly service from the regular staff and great food.

Our meal was absolutely fantastic. The Sea Bass was gorgeous and the staff were really friendly and very helpful. I couldn't fault our whole experience.

Relaxed and welcoming ambiance with delicious home cooked meals. The Eton Mess is well worth trying, full of berries. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal there and our dog was made welcome also.

My wife and I celebrated our 34th wedding anniversary and we were not disappointed. Both the service we received from the staff and the food itself were first class. We would highly recommend this restaurant.

We ate here on Saturday 2nd October. My partner had mash and pie of the day which was lovely. I chose the pork off the specials. I thought they had forgot my vegetables or mash. I had 1 piece of sweet potato chunk green beans and a couple of tiny carrots. Thankfully I had a starter and a desert to fill me up! My partner asked one of the waitresses what the pie was. She didn’t know and said she would find out but she didn’t come and tell us. Think the staff should know the specials when they start there shift. Expensive for what we had.

We had dinner at the Croft on Saturday & everything was perfect from the time we entered. The staff really friendly & helpful & all 4 meals were lovely & the food was hot. Will definitely dine there again.

Staff very friendly and service was good. Food was average. I had the pie of the day with chips a small bit of veg and it was a bit tasteless - had to add more seasoning than I usually would to enhance the taste. The surroundings are lovely.

We arrived on time we was told there was short of staff we was taken to the table with the menu and no one return until after a hour the food was okay but not great

We were a party of 8 ladies dining at The Croft on a Saturday evening. Due to a misunderstanding in the group we were reserved an outside table which was not our intention, as it was too cold to eat outside. The staff at the restaurant were very good, supplying us with blankets and arranging a table inside for us very quickly, so full marks for that. We had to preorder our food, which we thought should not have been necessary for a group as small as we were, but it did mean that our starters were delivered very promptly and all the food was excellent.

We came down for our anniversary weekend and had lunch at The Croft Restaurant. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our drinks and starter came quickly and were delicious. I had the sea bass for my main it was perfectly cooked and tasted delicious my husband had ham egg and chips and we was very pleased with it. If we come down to the area again we would definitely come back to the Croft restaurant.

Food gorgeous,drinks overpriced bought same at brewery for £3-60 less,understandable need to make profit but come on,and beer was warm.Best onion rings on planet,service good,wine lovely,just bit miffed at beer price,overall would recommend,food stunning!

I booked a table for myself and my husband for a Friday night to celebrate our marriage. The menu looked nice and we thought we’d give it a go. We were seated, and then forgotten about. There were 4 staff members on, all who seemed more interested in chatting with each other and being on their phones than serving customers. They were even cleaning empty tables over serving us! We were finally served when I asked one of the boys to take our order (it took another 5 mins after I asked him as he was busy clearing empty tables). After our order was taken food and drink came out quickly, and service got slightly better. The food was lovely. I think having a restaurant run by teenagers is a bad business idea as they were clearly inexperienced with hospitality. They were all very polite, just not very good. As it currently stands, I unfortunately wouldn’t go back.

Service - pleasant, attentive but very young team with little leadership evident. Menu limited, food fair to good, but very expensive.
