Relaxed and welcoming ambiance with delicious home cooked meals. The Eton Mess is well worth trying, full of berries. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal there and our dog was made welcome also.

The Croft Restaurant – CheltenhamDelicious Breakfast!!! Quality Barista Coffee, great atmosphere and friendly service.
The Croft Restaurant – CheltenhamLovely venue, very friendly staff, delicious food; best breakfast in Bourton!
The Croft Restaurant – CheltenhamMy wife and I celebrated our 34th wedding anniversary and we were not disappointed. Both the service we received from the staff and the food itself were first class. We would highly recommend this restaurant.
The Croft Restaurant – CheltenhamWe ate here on Saturday 2nd October. My partner had mash and pie of the day which was lovely. I chose the pork off the specials. I thought they had forgot my vegetables or mash. I had 1 piece of sweet potato chunk green beans and a couple of tiny carrots. Thankfully I had a starter and a desert to fill me up! My partner asked one of the waitresses what the pie was. She didn’t know and said she would find out but she didn’t come and tell us. Think the staff should know the specials when they start there shift. Expensive for what we had.
The Croft Restaurant – CheltenhamWe had dinner at the Croft on Saturday & everything was perfect from the time we entered. The staff really friendly & helpful & all 4 meals were lovely & the food was hot. Will definitely dine there again.
The Croft Restaurant – CheltenhamStaff very friendly and service was good. Food was average. I had the pie of the day with chips a small bit of veg and it was a bit tasteless - had to add more seasoning than I usually would to enhance the taste. The surroundings are lovely.
The Croft Restaurant – CheltenhamWe arrived on time we was told there was short of staff we was taken to the table with the menu and no one return until after a hour the food was okay but not great
The Croft Restaurant – CheltenhamWe were a party of 8 ladies dining at The Croft on a Saturday evening. Due to a misunderstanding in the group we were reserved an outside table which was not our intention, as it was too cold to eat outside. The staff at the restaurant were very good, supplying us with blankets and arranging a table inside for us very quickly, so full marks for that. We had to preorder our food, which we thought should not have been necessary for a group as small as we were, but it did mean that our starters were delivered very promptly and all the food was excellent.
The Croft Restaurant – CheltenhamWe came down for our anniversary weekend and had lunch at The Croft Restaurant. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our drinks and starter came quickly and were delicious. I had the sea bass for my main it was perfectly cooked and tasted delicious my husband had ham egg and chips and we was very pleased with it. If we come down to the area again we would definitely come back to the Croft restaurant.
The Croft Restaurant – CheltenhamFood gorgeous, drinks overpriced bought same at brewery for £3-60 less, understandable need to make profit but come on,and beer was warm.Best onion rings on planet, service good, wine lovely, just bit miffed at beer price, overall would recommend, food stunning!
The Croft Restaurant – CheltenhamExcellent, as always. Highly recommended
The Croft Restaurant – CheltenhamI booked a table for myself and my husband for a Friday night to celebrate our marriage. The menu looked nice and we thought we’d give it a go. We were seated, and then forgotten about. There were 4 staff members on, all who seemed more interested in chatting with each other and being on their phones than serving customers. They were even cleaning empty tables over serving us! We were finally served when I asked one of the boys to take our order (it took another 5 mins after I asked him as he was busy clearing empty tables). After our order was taken food and drink came out quickly, and service got slightly better. The food was lovely. I think having a restaurant run by teenagers is a bad business idea as they were clearly inexperienced with hospitality. They were all very polite, just not very good. As it currently stands, I unfortunately wouldn’t go back.
The Croft Restaurant – CheltenhamService - pleasant, attentive but very young team with little leadership evident. Menu limited, food fair to good, but very expensive.
The Croft Restaurant – CheltenhamFood was ok, but the Service was terrible, we had a starter and main course which were served promptly, then it went downhill, we weren’t asked if we would like anymore drinks, if we would like the desert menu, which we would have had, I finally got to ask a young lad if we could have a desert menu, then left us and never came back to ask if we would like to order, so after half an hour decided to get the bill, and leave. I wouldn’t recommend anyone going there unless they don’t mind poor service.
The Croft Restaurant – CheltenhamI have to say we had a dreadful experience at The Croft, really dissatisfied. The staff are all very inexperienced and the food was very poor. I ordered the pie of the day and it simply wasn’t a pie. When delivered to our table I asked if there was any gravy? This was met with a simple ‘no, that’s in the pie’. The pie was a small tasteless pot of chicken, mushrooms and stock, with a slice of packet puff pastry popped loosely on top. When the waitress asked how my meal was I say ‘the pie is a bit weird and not great’, she responded with an enthusiastic ‘GREAT!’ (clearly not listening). We did find this amusing though and was probably our highlight. Don’t bother with this one!
The Croft Restaurant – Cheltenham1) Lots of staff available during our early evening visit, but the table service was chaotic and slow. 2) Quality of food was good, but parts of both the starter and the main course were served luke warm. 3) Could have been so much better with a little more attention and considered management.
The Croft Restaurant – CheltenhamA lovely place to eat lovely atmosphere staff friendly superb food would highly recommend
