Food, service and ambiance were all fantastic. Highly recommended. Definitely the best Indian restaurant in Gloucestershire. Try it!
Curry Corner Indian Restaurant – CheltenhamIt was very enjoyable. A great place for all the family.
TGI Fridays – CheltenhamMy family and I have been eating at the Curry Corner since it first opened 30 years ago. We take all our friends and family there for regular eat outs and special occasions. Each and every time the food and service has been fantastic. For those who are not aware, the Curry Corner has undergone a complete refurbishment and the restaurant looks a million dollars. For a superior restaurant experience where you can expect the best we recommend the Curry Corner every time.
Curry Corner Indian Restaurant – CheltenhamGreat place to eat food-fab ambience, lovely food and friendly service. Would eat here again
Zizzi – CheltenhamWe had a cooked breakfast here and the scrambled egg was rubbery and tasteless. Having said that I have been to other Cafe Rouges and they're ok.
Cafe Rouge – Cheltenhamfood very average/poor quality and bought in ready prepared i would guess. Very very overpriced. Portions small. Ambience juvenile and loutish
TGI Fridays – CheltenhamJust had to write this review to express my thoughts about how great this place is! Gianni is totally italian...staff, waiters and chefs. This reflects in the fantastic Italian atmosphere...you'd think you were in Italy until you walk outside into the Cheltenham Bus Station! The italian-ness extends to the divine pasta dishes and sauces. Just a thought.....if you're reading this Mr Gianni, you need to improve your desserts. This is just a small criticism....but after the authentic italian prepared main meal we expected something in the same vein for afters. Instead we seem to have the run of the mill, commercially prepared set-prepared dessert. Never mind, the main event could not be overshadowed....it was such high quality. And great value, change from the three tenners(!) is terrific for food of the quality we experienced. Go there you will not be disappointed
Gianni Restaurant – CheltenhamThe food is always good though the starters some what small. This is always forgiven by the time the main course has been devoured!!
Flynns – CheltenhamDecent menu, excellent food, you can bring your own bottle- works out even cheaper.
Kashmir Restaurant – CheltenhamIn the centre of Cheltenham, but somehow tucked away, this hidden jewel is worth seeking out. If you want atmosphere and a fun night out, this is the place to go. The staff are really enthusiastic about their work and now and again burst into song! We had to wait a while for our food, but didn't mind as we soaked up the ambience and nibbled our free olives. I had the cannelloni which was very tasty. My boyfriend had penne putanesca, and commented on the perfect sauce. We also had a shared starter of calamari, prawns and whitebait and half a graffe of red wine..... and change from £30! For the money, the food was excellent. Nothing too fancy, just fresh, hot, traditional italian. We intend to go back next week and take some friends. Highly recommended
Gianni Restaurant – CheltenhamWow! In a word Fantastic. In two words ˜Fantastic, Fantastic'. Did I mention this place is Fantastic? We have been to Gianni's some time ago and seemed to recall having a good time and a first class meal. So, we looked forward to our return in July 2007........and we were not to be disappointed. The prices seemed to have gone down, the ambience and enjoyment levels were electric and the quality of the piping hot food was exceptional. We had the olives, mixed salad and a selection of seafood to start. The chef must have just gone out into the garden to pick the green stuff - it was that fresh. Surely he didn't have time to catch the beautiful squid and white bait as well?! The Pasta dishes and sauces were divine. A word of warning. They do NOT do Pizza. Chatting to one of the head waiters, he explained that they do actually cook Pizza's for staff meals but they felt it was not up to the highest standard they wanted for the public - apparently something to do with the correct type of oven needed. We have since recommended it to many people and will be returning there shortly.
Gianni Restaurant – CheltenhamMy family and I eat here all the time. The staff are friendly but more importantly the food is excellent and the portions are HUGE! I defy anyone to finish their enormous bowl of food. You really can afford to go to this place on a fairly regular basis at just over £5 a head.
288 Bar and Wok – CheltenhamOne of Tewkesbury's best kept secrets. Family run restaurant. Great food, good service and friendly atmosphere. Well worth a visit.
Culinaria – CheltenhamThis was our first visit to a Thai restaurant and we were extremely impressed with the quality of the food, the presentation, service and overall ambience. The restaurant was full and everyone seemed as happy as we were. Would have no hesitation recommending Thai Emerald as we are intending to go back very soon.
Thai Emerald Restaurant – CheltenhamThe Food was absolutely delicious, i would definitely recommend this restaurant
The Stable – CheltenhamWithout hesitation I would recommend this restaurant as we have been regular customers for years. Our particular favourite is chicken tikka massala, absolutely superb. Try their other restaurant, Indian Lounge, excellent.
Indian Brasserie – CheltenhamFrom the moment you walk in you are made to feel extremely welcome. Contemporary decor, nice and light. Today we had poppadoms with pickles, chutney and mint yoghurt to start. Ordered chicken dhansak, pathila raj, pilau rice and naan bread for the two of us. Absolutely superb food. Other customers seemed equally impressed with their food. Without hesitation I would recommend this restaurant to anyone, you will not be disappointed. Try their other restaurant too, Indian Brasserie; again, you will not be disappointed.
India Lounge – CheltenhamThis restaurant is recently opened, and we were very impressed with the contemporary decor, the delicious food and attentive service. A bit more expensive than average, but worth it - lovely. Its definitely on our list for a return visit.
