This is our go to Restaurant for Sunday lunch. The staff are professional and friendly and extremely helpful. The food is consistently of a very high standard. Lovely setting with traditional tables clothes and excellent service.

Lovely service and kindly made room for our party of four to increase to six. Saturday night and extremely busy. Always a very enjoyable venue.

We have been to this restaurant many times over the years. We don’t go to regularly as, for us, it is usually for special occasions. The restaurant was very busy but we had a good table near to the bar. We had plenty of space around us so you certainly don’t feel you are crammed in. Service was excellent and attentive but not too much so. The food was some of the best we have had here. The twice baked soufflé that I had for a starter was the best I have had anywhere. My wife had smoked salmon and crab parcel that she enjoyed. For main we both had fish. The halibut and the sea bass were both excellent and well cooked. For dessert we shared cheese. It was a good selection. The wine selection was extensive, and we went for a good bottle of Gavi. We finished the meal with port and Armagnac. Meals are usually very good here, but this meal was perhaps the best we had had. A good fine dining experience.

We visited Bacchus this week with my elderly mother . We have visited before and my mother loves the restaurant. We had a fabulous meal beautifully cooked and presented. The service is excellent too. I would thoroughly this restaurant.

Went for a friend's birthday lunch yesterday, for the first time. Very impressed with menu, food and friendliness of staff. On the pricey side but to be expected of a formal restaurant in Prestbury and worth it for an occasion.
