Met with 3 friends for our Christmas catchup. Lovely food great atmosphere. The service was great too

Came yesterday for a pre Christmas catch up with two lovely friends, the venue was really nicely decorated for Christmas. We were seated by the log burner which was lovely. The service was excellent, perfectly timed and we didn’t feel rushed at all. We all had the chicken and stuffing sandwich which was nicely filled and very tasty. I had the soup which was potato, leek and sage and was very tasty and my friends had beautifully cooked chips. We had a lovely time and will be coming back early next year.

We went to Panama Hattys to celebrate our daughter's 18th birthday. We were looked after so well from beginning to end. All of the staff we saw were so accommodating and friendly. The food was delicious. A fabulous evening had by all. Thank you

Had a really nice meal, Sunday dinners were delicious (appreciated the nut roast for the vegetarian option as some places think veggies don’t want a roast dinner too) had our dog with us too and was very dog friendly. Meals brought out quick and staff friendly, will definitely be back, thanks!

Excellent value for money

Couldn't taste any alcohol in the long island ice tea.. The vegetables on the Sunday Roast were on the wrong side of al dente. Nobody came to the table to ask how our meals were or if would like any more drinks. Husband had to go the the bar. Couldn't see or taste any gravy on the meals, had to ask for some. Manager just said he'll pass the comments to the chef. Disappointing meal, won't be coming back for the Sunday Lunch.

My husband and I stayed for a night and dined here. We both had an excellent vegetarian dish. The place was beautifully decorated and the stoves were on in all three rooms adding to the already festive feel. Nothing was too much for Karen and the team. A lovely place. Would highly recommend.

As ever a lovely meal in a very convivial atmosphere with excellent service and food.

5 of us had a meal here on 21/11/25. As always, staff excellent, food lovely and plentiful. The place itself is lovely, especially at this time of year. It would be nice if there were a few more gluten free options on the menu, as it's a bit limited for me, but obviously this isn't something the staff have any control over and it won't stop me eating here again.

Lovely family birthday meal for my son. The restaurant was welcoming and warm. The restaurant staff gave us just the right amount of time to make our food choices, and were friendly. I had the chicken massaman curry which was delicious, a generous portion and definitely value for money. My son had the sriracha kebab which he enjoyed, and husband the half roast chicken with piri piri sauce. Highly recommend Panama Hatties, never had a meal we haven't enjoyed

Booked an early evening meal here for my partner and 7 year old. The service was lovely and friendly, we were greeted warmly. The food came quickly, it was very quiet though maybe only 5 tables full (it was 5:30), food was fresh and the chips were brilliant! The pricing is similar to those around in the area, and worth it for the fresh tasty food. We will be back, thank you.

My group of friends has been coming here for more years than we care to remember and we love it. The whole feel of the place is so comfortable and relaxing and the service is attentive but unobtrusive. We particularly appreciate that we can enjoy our meal at our own pace. The food is always good with something for everyone.

From the welcome to departure it was wonderful. The sunday roast is always on point,flavoursome and traditional. The staff were friendly without being over friendly. And as for the dessert excellent and typically British.
