Lovely food as always amazing staff and prices are good for the food and drinks

Unfortunately our food was not good. Tortellini a la crème was surrounded in a watery sauce ,, the salmon pasta consisted mostly of pasta,,,, the lasagne was beyond hot and tasteless ,,,, Chicken livers to start which were mainly mush,, The staff seemed to have a “canteen attitude “ of placing all drinks at the front of the table and walking off and they were not particularly friendly Did get a refund on the Tortellini but won’t return ,, Have had nice meals there in the past ..

As always, the staff were welcoming and friendly, providing excellent service. The food was very well cooked and prepared. Overall and excellent dining experience which was excellent value for money. I will most definitely be returning.

We had a delicious meal yesterday evening, served by polite and lovely staff. We ate main courses and desserts, all of which were spot on.

We are regulars to papa luigis for special occasions and this visit was just as good as all the others. Everything was perfect and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recce this restaurant

Food, ambience, value for money all spot on as usual. Service was not as good as normal- we had to ask 3 times for water for the table and it arrived just as we were finishing our main course. I appreciate it was a busy evening, being A level results day. Perhaps water for the table could be delivered as standard to every table as standard during to ensure staff are not being asked for it, or they could ask if you want it when taking the order? Thank you

Lovely visit yesterday afternoon as always the staff was helpful and the ploughman’s meal was really good especially the scotch egg!
