Just returned from our latest visit and thought it was time to share this goldmine that Chorley has! From the exquisite food, friendly staff, fantastic ambience and exceptional value; this place is unrivalled in the area!!! Highly recommend a visit.

We've been a few times now. The restaurant is small but this helps create a good atmosphere. The service is always good and the staff are helpful. The food is quite varied but of good quality for the price especially during the week.

I am really impressed with everything about this nice place.. everything was excellent, the food, service, the welcoming attitude of the staff including the chef. what has really impressed me was the presentation of the dishes, superb! care was taken with every other detail, the dim lights, the jazzy comforting music. I was very proud when I felt my guests were so pleased.

My husband I celebrate our Ruby Wedding Anniversary, All our guest were overwhelmed and couldn? fault the service, Ambience and the quality of food it was second to none. The Pines is a place my husband and I dine in on a weekly basis and always enjoy our treat, the staff are so helpful and friendly, Quality of food which at times may seem a little pricey but on presentation well worth it. We Highly Recommend the Pines and would like to take this opportunity to thank all concern for their first class service and giving us some happy memories.

This establishment has recently gone a face lift, due to a fire, I thing. However the transformation is amazing. The food is amazing. Your really cant go wrong if you eat out here or you want to impresses.

We only live locally and visited a few times last summer with some friends we had over from Australia. We promised ourselves to make the time to go more often. We went again for the first time since last year last Thursday and had a lovely meal. We missed James though, I don? think he was working as he always spares the time during the night to some out and chat with you.

I am a regular visitor here and every time we enjoy a good meal. With a huge choice on the menu and draught indian lagers, the hyatt offers one of the best curries around.

Great atmosphere, real fire and tea light candles dotted about the place. Friendly, welcoming staff, food absolutely wonderful ! Cannot fault the place at all.

We regularly eat here, either just my girlfriend and I or sometimes the whole family. We mainly go during happy hour (5.30pm - 6.30pm) where you can get a full-size pizza or pasta dish for less than a fiver. The drinks are reasonably priced as well. The places is usually busy and I would strongly recommend booking for Friday & Saturday nights as we have arrived a couple of times at 6pm and been told the next available table was 9pm! The food is of a consistently high standard and there is an 'open' kitchen where you can see the food being prepared. We have been more than half a dozen times now and each time the food has been excellent, as has the price! Highly recommended.

Great for lunch, well priced with generous portions. Also been in the evening. The menu is varied, with a great specials board. Better than the usual pub fare, and better than the establishment run by the same . hotel chain in another part of Chorley Tends to be busy, but service good. Has an outside seating area adjacent to the canal, wonderful when the weather is pleasant.

Really nice straightforward Italian food in this small restaurant. Nice atmosphere over looking the duck pond and fountain in the middle of Ecclestone. Not outstanding, but nothing wrong with it either.

Absolutely fantastic little ice cream parlour, the ice cream and atmosphere is so good that there is still a queue to the door on cold November evenings!! Sometimes stop here when out for a ride on my motorbike, the banana boat is the best, lol

Been to this pub 8 times with different people every one loved it the menu is the best I have ever seen. a must for every one

This is a superb restaurant. I've eaten in many of the best, and this is equal or better than most, including some of the big names. I feel that this should be in all the good food guides. Well done to James Ford for making our evening one to be remembered for my wife, my guests and me!

I had my hen night with Boatel only last night and had an absolutely fantastic time. The food was great and the staff were very friendly and polite. We were consulted on what type of music we wanted. We played games, everyone had a great time. Wonderful! Will be booking a daytime cruise for my daughter's birthday!

We eat at the Blue Elephant at least once a week, both the food and service are outstanding. The staff are trained to a very high standard & are also very friendly. The restaurant itself has a contemporary feel throughout & is an easy place to relax! The food is freshly prepared, portions are generous & presented to a high standard. Overall a night at the Blue Elephant is a second to none dining experience!
