Perfect.

Met up with some friends and as always good food, good service and attentive staff

Dined on Saturday lunchtime. Nice atmosphere, friendly service. Lovely food, served nice and hot. Most of our party dined from the lunchtime menu which was very good value.

Good food new had a bad meal service is good.

We arrived for our booking at 7pm, we were shown to our table. We waited ages to be asked if we would like drinks. Ordered our food which came quickly. After finishing our meal we was asked if we wanted to see a sweet menu, we said yes and 15 minutes later we still hadn’t seen the menu so I just asked for the bill and left. So annoyed. We wont rush to go back there.

Our first visit, courtesy of a gift voucher and we certainly weren't disappointed. A beautiful setting, friendly, welcoming staff and lovely food. Would certainly return.

We took our daughter and son-in-law (two confirmed carnivores) for lunch on Sunday, following a bit of walk. Once again the food and the service were excellent. Friendly and efficient staff, great views (we got a booth!) and really tasty food. Good sized portions too. Even though Whins Green Kitchen is a veggie place, it doesn't push wholesomeness or veggieness at you - it's just good food and good atmosphere. If you ahve the time walk down to the canal and head to the right for about 20min. YOu'll get to Withnell Fold which is fascinating. Then retrace your steps and you'll have worked up an appetite and can treat yourself to pudding too! One of our favourite places to eat. One of our favourite places.

Had a lovely meal on Tuesday night, the starters were extremely large with plenty of prawns and smoked salmon and the ribs I am told were amazing. Could not fault the food at all it was delicious. The staff too were very attentive and there was a nice ambience. The food was very good value for money. My only criticism is that to charge £3.30 for a pint of soda water with blackcurrant and ice is far too expensive!

Came with family the waitress was pleasant but thought the service was not organised. Starters given to two of us then a bit of a wait for the others. Main course was not as bad

Excellent tasty curry! Lovely contemporary surroundings converted from a spacious old pub. Friendly efficient service too. Recommended!
