Great staff . Good atmosphere. Great value for money. Service of main meal a little slow but the restaurant was very busy

We have been there few times before but yesterday's meal was excellent ant the atmosphere. The food was really good and the staff was excellent even the staff at the bar. Once you go and you will want to go all the time. Thank you.

Me and my mum really enjoyed our afternoon tea. Although the staff were really busy and we waited 30 mins for some tea, they were still really helpful and cheerful.

I pre booked online, on arrival i was told there was no booking in my name so i showed them my confirmation email. I was then seated.we ate our starter and was half way through our main when two tables had been mixed up so there was then a huge commotion to change tables. Then the table of 18 celebrating a birthday remained stood huddled round the table constantly knocking in to our table which eventually i'd had enough and left desert and left. I understand large parties happen but a bit of common courtesy and respect for other diners would of been nice. Overall food was good but the mix up on bookings and tables etc made it a very poor experience.

I love visiting this little place. I took my mum for lunch and a treat afternoon. She loved it and so did I. Food is beautiful, all staff are so warm and inviting. Nothing too much trouble. Idilic setting for a Sunday lunch

Meal, staff and service excellent. We had obviously booked in advance and had requested a table for four by the window. We were celebrating two birthdays. At first we were shown to a table in the middle of the room along side a large table of very noisy diners obviously celebrating. The waiter saw my reaction and thankfully offered us a spare table in the bottom corner by the window so we were happy. The Restaurant was full to capacity but the waiters still managed to speedily deliver our meals. Excellent food and service.

‘Mum and son outing’. Thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Whins Green Kitchen and will certainly return (maybe combining with a walk in the beautiful surrounding countryside). The choice of food and quality was even better than expected - a vegan and vegetarian’s delight but I would also recommend to non-vegan friends. Cakes and deserts irresistible but as my son was full after his starter and meal he chose to take a cake home. Service was excellent with a warm personal touch.

Delicious food in comfortable surroundings with excellent views of the countryside knowing everything on the menu is suitable for vegan/vegetarians to eat for once.

A fabulous location, amazing views and impressive dining area (inside and outside) and such a refreshing change to experience a well prepared vegan and vegetarian menu. We loved it, clean environment, good ambiance and great service plus a delicious meal, we cant wait to go back again! There is also a Spa, so you can get treatments and a meal, great business idea. DON'T not go as there is no meat on the menu - embrace the menu and enjoy a great meal, flavorsome and filling. #poweredbyplants

Once again fantastic food staff were fantastic and friendly a brilliant experience thanks to all at Whins.

The food was excellent, but 2 glasses of wine for £6-25 each we thought was very expensive, it were house wine too.

Visited Whins on a Sunday with my husband, daughter and granddaughter. Adult food was delicious but we were disappointed that the chips that came with my granddaughter's meal were salted.

Really lovely home cooked food in a beautiful location. On the downside, when we arrived we were told off by the manager for booking online as she said she didn't have access to that! Buy she allowed us in. We sat by the door and as we ate she continued to greet people rudely and turn them away even though there were plenty of empty tables inside and out. Strange way to run a business. Her attitude put us off returning to be honest. Shame.
