13th January 2012. You will think of the excellent, authentic Italian food you had on your last Italian holiday when you visit this restaurant. Lots of choice of genuine Italian food on the menu. Quiet relaxing music so that you can chat to your partner. No rushing around and fussing. The out of town location made me question my choice of restaurant, but once we were through the door I was impressed. The early offer of two courses from the main menu for £8.50 impressed me even more! R. Greenhalgh.

Rude workers with the person taking orders over the phone stopping half way through to pick up his mobile phone! Deliverer asking for a good few pounds more than it should have been (luckily worked out before he arrived). Food was poor and relatively cold considering it was here within 30mins. Do not order from here.

It was the best Rice & Kebabs I ever get, even when I thinking about this restaurant I feel Hungry.the Staff are so friendly too.

One of my favourite bars in the whole of Manchester, perfect place for a beer or tasty grub. Couldn't love it more !!!

Without doubt the biggest gem in Chorlton right now. great service, fantastic and i mean FANTASTIC fresh, authentic, beautifully presented food. This place should be winning awards.

22/10/2011 Eh! what do you get when you have about 70 young people, drinking legally with ID, bar staff who are flexible and polite , thanks Louise. Sensitive door staff and helpful owner. Tasty warm food which kept on coming out of the kitchen for ages and the most entertaining DJ in Vinny you could wish to have at your party . The answer; an absolutley fantastic, enjoyable night. Well done Mint Bar Chrolton a magnificent effort .

I am not too sure I should write this as I like being able to get a seat in a medium sized hostelry. However, since the new owners moved in just over a year ago The Parlour is surely the best place to drink and enjoy excellent food in Chorlton. A constantly changing selection of excellently kept real ales, a good choice of bottled beers and wines, great coffee. Locally soured, well prepared fresh food (good nibbles as well!). Great "Sophisticated Pub"atmosphere (card games, wonderful jukebox - free). Very well trained staff who provide excellent service. Who could ask for more ?

To be honest, the pub is soulless, full of 30-40 somethings, full of themselves, with kids and grand parents in tow. The food is mediocre, the real ale not very well kept and the service poor

Being a staff member of coriander I am telling you the truth. First of all don't give any service charge to the staff even though you get the best service because it goes to the owner's pocket straightaway. It is not shared among staff members. Secondly, don't have any chutney which comes with poppadoms as they mix them up with old chutnies( which goes back from the table). They never throw any chutney to the bin at all which has already been served, they keep it for next day to mix with fresh ones. What they do is, they make only 7/8 trays for whole night and then start topping up. It means you are eating some one else's chutney which is absolutely terrible. Finally, if you smell the clothe comes with naan breads, you would understand that how dirty it is. Well, you might think that why I am telling these secret !!!! My answer is I got to be honest and fare with you.

great Spanish feel to the place will deffo be back ,love that all the staff were Spanish as it gave me chance to freshen up my Spanish ,turns out I'm not that good but picked up a few new words thanks will be back x

We have been going to Mint Bar for our Full English Breakfasts on Saturdays for some time now as we were guaranteed great quality ingredients, a real treat. Unfortunately not so on our last couple of visits, along with the name change there appears to have been a change of stockist also. Poor quality and extremely salty bacon, cheap sausage and black pudding means we wont be returning, such a shame that it appears that profits based on low quality ingredients have replaced what was a brilliant brekkie!

Visited this restaurant many times and has been excellent UNTIL tonight. Menu changed - okay can deal with no steak!- but service and attitude of the one waiter was APPALLING. When we complained, he was rude and suggested that the kitchen was busy. There was only one other table occupied so busy was not really the word I would use. The food was not of the great quality experienced on past visits and they couldn't even get our order right - it really was not complicated (lamp chop and chips - instead, we got lamp chops,salad and roasted veg) Disappointing and shall not be returning
