We came for Sunday7th August, we had a table for 3. We felt very comfortable as the tables were well spaced out, we all had different Roast Lunches, Chicken, Pork and Beef which were all Delicious, the Girls that were working were very polite, Thus was our first visit, We will definitely be back. Well Done to the Whole Team

We enjoyed another exceptional lunch yesterday at the Masons Arms. The food is beautifully cooked and a good mix of traditional and more unusual dishes. The staff could not be more helpful, nothing was a problem. We have been there on several occasions over recent months and it never fails to impress. Highly recommend and good value.

Waitresses and waiters were absolutely great and pub decor really lovely. Was a bit disappointed in the food - the reviews led me to believe the food was really special. I had the beetroot and goats cheese main course which was the same size as my friends starter (small). It was just some lettuce with a few pieces of beetroot and some crumbled cheese. Perfectly fine - but for a pub with such great food reviews, I had expected a big bowl of lots of different coloured beetroot; interesting leaves; and a big fat melty piece of cheese rather than some crumbs.

Visited on Friday night with a friend, friend has allergy to cheese and strawberries, this was noted and was also on receipt, she order the Cajun chicken burger with no cheese but it came out with cheese on it was not an issue to change it but when the replacement came out, really swiftly it had no mango sauce on which was bought out later once it was mentioned food is always consistent and delicious so not sure if this was just a hiccup with communication and the pub being busy

Absolutely superb!

We enjoyed a meal on Sunday evening, lovely food and excellent bottle of wine. The staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Would thoroughly recommend a visit and we will certainly be back.

Really enjoyed our visit to the Mason's Arms. Lovely characterful place, great menu choices, service and food. Recommend the chorizo arancini ! 2 courses for £17 was great value too.

Sunday Lunch yesterday was excellent. This was our fifth or sixth visit (including weekday lunches and evening meals. All have been very good food, good value for money and very attentive staff. We would definitely recommend a visit.

Delicious Sunday roasts and great service. definitely visit!!

Got seated right away, by a very friendly and pleasant girl, another guy sorted drinks quickly and we got our food within 10 minutes. The food was delicious! Great little pub and all of the staff are great assets to their employers. A+++ if we weren't down visiting from Newcastle, we'd definitely frequent the Masons Arms!
