Food absolutely delicious

Another excellent at the Masons Arms. Great food (and great portion sizes!) good prices and friendly and efficient service.

What a lovely pub. We were made to feel very welcome and the food was outstanding. I would definitely recommend this pub and will be definitely be returning.

I stayed at the Masons Arms at the last minute having had a poor experience elsewhere, the food was really excellent. The service was so prompt, friendly, welcoming and professional and the food just couldn’t be faulted. It was utterly delicious. I am very impressed but every single aspect of this place.

We had lunch at the Mason's Arms yesterday, a Friday lunchtime. We came with friends who have not been before. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I had the steak and mushroom pie, with fresh vegetable and chips. Delicious flavour and very large portion. The others all had choices from the lunch menu, which is good value if you have two or three courses. Great food, atmosphere and lovely staff. Will certainly be coming again (actually booked for a couple of weeks already!). Many thanks.

Booked on line. Clean, warm and welcoming inside. Ordered Thai fishcakes and duck spring rolls for starters. Little disappointed spring rolls were just two bought in frozen spring rolls halved as I was expecting build my own duck pancakes. This was my error for not reading menu properly. My husband's homemade fishcake was delicious. We both had the steak, mushroom pie, mine with veg of day and his with peas. We both thoroughly enjoyed our pies. The gravy was extremely tasty, meat tender and pie crust lovely. Our chips were excellent. Too full up for desserts. Will most definitely be returning.

Very welcoming pub. Friendly staff. Bedroom was clean, comfortable and cosy. The bathroom contained warm, fluffy towels and a good range of toiletries. Would recommend.

Good food, friendly service and overall good value. Loads of vegetarian options which is appreciated. Look forward to returning.

Went for a pre Xmas meal with a friend…what can I say..the pub looked amazing…roaring fires..stunning decorations. Lovely waitress, fab food. 5* Making it a monthly girly get together. Thank you all.
