Toms Table – ClitheroeFood was delicious and paired with complimentary wines. I still find it the best place in Clitheroe for evening dining. First time going since they opened the new bar area. It provides the perfect space for pre dinner drinks and creates additional space whilst waiting to go to the toilet. However it has created a corridor as waiting staff and customers pass by the upper floor tables to reach the rest of the restaurant. I did find the initial service, taking of orders was a little slow but then the service between starter and main was a bit too quick for me.
Toms Table – ClitheroeWe visited as a relaxing treat after the Christmas hustle and bustle and it was perfect. The ambiance is very relaxed with attentative staff. The starters and mains were cooked to perfection and filled with flavour. The price is a little higher than many other places in Clitheroe but you get what you pay for and the extra little cost is well worth it. We will return, probably next time we'll try the Wednesday evening steak offer.

Luckily came in big coats so had them over our legs to keep warm. Service was good but felt they could have done more and moved us closer to the only working fire

The table physically too small for 2 meals side plates & wine glasses etc. Our only hesitation is the price —our bill was silly so will be looking to return for the special steak night for example.

Toms Table – ClitheroeThis is an honest opinion of Toms Table. The restaurant was really nice, the staff were most obliging on arrival. The table allocated was too cold. In a restaurant you want to feel relaxed and comfortable and take you r coat off. This wasn’t the case. I stated this to the waitress and was moved upstairs. It was done with no fuss and was done politely. It was considerably warmer upstairs. The food and service was excellent. The restaurant does need to address the temperature of the restaurant, perhapscaddressing the open door in the entrance. This is a review to make the restaurant better, but all in all we had a really nice evening and will return, but book a table upstairs.
