Last Sunday we celebrated my best friends baby shower here. The service we received was unfaultable, Trudy saw us through from the phone booking, to dietary requirements and special requests. she truly couldn't have done anymore for us. We had an afternoon tea in the upstairs section which was perfect for our group of 10 and the decor up there just made it all the more lovely. The food as always was superb. It's not somewhere that jumped out as an obvious venue to hold a baby shower, but I can definitely recommend it, as it was just wonderful.

Lovely souffle as a starter, perfectly judged portions for the roast beef main with extra gravy available (yes!) and a yummy sticky parkin to finish. Friendly service, too. A real treat.

We were there early, were made welcome and treated to great service and wonderfully prepared food

We were a large gathering celebrating a family birthday and had a lovely evening with the usual high standard of food at Toms table and a menu that suited everyone inc vegan and gluten free. As it was a Saturday evening they were very busy and we experienced a delay in taking our order of around 45 mins. Our first course arrived promptly though soon after and the chef added a lovely decorative touch to our birthday cake ! Thank you all

Brizola has fast become our favourite place to go when we get a child free night* The food and service are always outstanding, and the staff are warm and welcoming. (*They cater for kids,we just actually get to enjoy our food when the kids aren't there...)

Food was nice but nothing special. Seems like they are trying to be a fine dining establishment but failing. Steak and chips with mixed leaves out of a bag. Like what you would get with a sandwich in a cafe. Then the blue cheese sauce was like the base of a peppercorn sauce and did not look it taste much like a blue cheese sauce. The sauce was served in a thimble and when I asked for a bit more they charged me twice. Small details, Get the portion size right and people wouldn't have to aks for a bit more. Atmosphere was quite nice but they didn't seem to have enough staff to service the customers to the standard you would expect from a more expensive establishment.

Hadn't been to this restaurant in a few years as the menu hadnt appealed until more recently. Visited Saturday evening with friends, and we were pleasentlu surprised, delicious food in atmospheric surroundings and excellent service. The menu choices were great, with a number of specials also available, ultimately making it difficult to decide what we wanted. Will be returning. Highly recommended

Brizola is our favourite local restaurant. You’re guaranteed a friendly welcome from all the staff and the food is delicious. It’s also now much easier to book online.

Found this little gen in Sugarvine Travelled from the fylde coast on a very grey wet day! More than worth it to discover this place Fabulous food a unique setting and very attentive and very pleasant staff . Took a foodie friend forlunch and she loved it ! Will be back soon and tell other friends Thank you Tom&Trudy for a most enjoyed lunch. Regarding the atmosphere im sure the evening light would be better but it wiuld add to it if you were to play french music

Have visited Brizola a few times now and every time it’s been spot on. Friendly staff, amazing food, good portion sizes and absolute value for money. A real hidden gem and I highly recommend a visit!

Absolutely fabulous meal and service. Easy to book online. Nice and large servings and waitresses who looked after us.

What a fabulous little Taverna in the heart of Lancashire! Booked for 4 on a Wednesday night and cannot fault anything! Food is superb and staff are just the right level of attentive! The best Greek food we've had outside of Greece and we will definitely be back to sample more of the menu! Really accommodating when we told them about an allergy too. Great value for money too as the portions are generous, even for those with a big appetite. 5 stars all round!!!!
