A perfect escape from the winter cold. Warm, inviting restaurant. Friendly, efficient staff. Plenty of food choices. Every mouthful was so tasty. Our only question is why on earth have we never tried it before.

The staff were brilliant - friendly, professional and willing to go the extra mile. The steak and kidney suet puddings were the best we have ever tasted! A lovely lunch out of Yorkshire.

One of our favourite restaurants, the food is always a constant, never lets us down. Matthew the owner is an excellent chef the food is always very tasty and very nicely presented. Rachel front of house and all the waiters and waitresses are always so pleasant. We always enjoy ourselves when we eat there. 5* always

Lovely meal for a large group, everyone was happy with the food and portion sizes. Great value for money. Service was great. Good atmosphere for Christmas.

Was given a gift voucher on our wedding day which we used on 14th Decemebr for lunch. All I can say is that it was perfect... food and service was impeccable. We had the 3 course lunch menu with some nibbles. The souffle and celeriac dishes were highlights. The kale colcannon was amazing as well! Fantastic value for money as well - we'll be back soon! Thank you to the staff for everything!

We had the most delicious lunch at Tom's Table this week. The setting is very special. Tucked away down a gorgeous little alley. The atmosphere comfortable and friendly. The welcome was warm as could be. Ben - our waiter - was charming, helpful, informative and totally delightful from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious. It really lived up to all the photos we'd seen online. Tender meats. Beautifully spiced sauces. Delicate aromas. Honestly a total treat from start to finish. One of our party was on a specially created halal menu which we were all really impressed with. We will definitely, definitely be back. Thank you for a totally super time.

Fabulous meal we ate on Saturday night after the England football match which was half an hour later than our original time. We called in the afternoon to see if it was possible they were very accommodating and we preordered. The staff were wonderful and food delicious. We would highly recommend it, and will definitely be going back.

Excellent as usual. We had a birthday booking for lunch time and we were certainly not disappointed. Menu choices were really good and food quality superb. We have been several times but this surpassed anything we’ve had before. I had the cheese soufflé which was outstanding and the baked Camembert which was a delight. Staff were polite and professional as always and we had a lovely lunchtime. The birthday treats at the end of the meal simply added to the whole experience. Thank you and we will definitely be back.

What a find this place is. We were on holiday and staying close by so booked for our final evening. From the warm welcome to wonderful cocktails, delicious food and excellent service we couldn't fault anything except we wished we lived closer! Hope to return in a years time.

We took a couple with whom we regularly have lunch at different places to Tom's Table, our favourite local restaurant. As usual the food, service and overall experience was fantastic. The lunchtime offer was both seasonal (it's heading towards Christmas) and the standard varued offer. Between the 4 of us we had a wide-range of dishes across starters, mains and desserts; everything was beautifully presented, tasty and very interesting food. This was far from our first visit and definitely won't be our last.

Had a great Christmas Lunch, as always the food is fantastic, without doubt the best restaurant we go to. Highly recommend a visit. The Turkey lunch is brill!

Lovely meal and a fabulous choice. 4 of us for dinner in a busy yet cozy atmosphere. The service was superb and very friendly. We stayed for a couple of nights and we would definitely come back. Highly recommended.

My third visit here and everything I expected. Amazing food - we both had a the Blade of Beef and it was superb, falling apart on my fork. Will definitely eat here again.

We visited Tom's Table for lunch on 29 November 2022 to celebrate our friend's birthday. We turned up a little early, but were shown straight to our table. The restaurant was pleasantly busy, but not overwhelming. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable and helpful, even splitting bill into food and drink for us. The set lunch menu was great, with plenty of choice without too many dishes on offer. We all said that we would happily eat anything and everything listed! All the dishes were well presented and the food was very tasty. The wine pairings were excellent, and the price was very reasonable. Overall, we were delighted with the whole event and would certainly return at the first opportunity. Well done Tom and staff!!

Had a fabulous 3 course lunch with friends. Excellent menu choices and super service. We had wanted to try it for a while - it’s so lovely that it’s no surprise that they are booked well in advance. We were delighted - everything was first rate.
