Lovely restaurant, food and service

Fantastic food and service we will definitely be going back! Loved it!

We went on Saturday 26th , the food was absolutely outstanding. The staff was very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us, they made our evening very special. We will definitely be going again.

Delicious food and lovely atmosphere! I really enjoyed our dinner the other day. Food was served beautifully arranged and it tasted amazing. Staff was incredibly polity and the service was quick. Would definitely recommend!

We came for our second visit on Thursday lunchtime and enjoyed a lovely meal. The food is well presented and perfectly cooked. If anything the menu is a little limited at lunchtime but we all found something we liked on it. One of our party needed the gluten free menu and she was very impressed with the clear labelling on the menu. She was especially pleased that she didn’t only get a meringue or gf brownie for her dessert as is often the case for her. The service from our waitress Dora and a young man whose name I did not catch was excellent. They were both friendly and helpful without being intrusive . We would happily recommend this lovely little restaurant. Well done to all the staff and to the head chef Tom.

We had a lovely meal here the other evening. We ate from the early bird menu, everything was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. Our waitress, Dora, was attentive without being intrusive as was the other young lady who's name we didn't catch. At £25 for three courses the early bird menu is fabulous value. This is deservedly one of the best places to eat in town.

Lovely restaurant, warm and friendly The staff were attentive. Good varied menu including lunch menu which was excellent and very good price. Can’t fault it, only that my pie was a little too salty but otherwise perfect

Amazing food and excellent service! We came as a late Valentine's Day treat, and we were not disappointed. As a vegetarian, there was one option for me for a main course, but it was delicious and would happily have again. There were more options for starters and desserts and shared a few with my partner, beautifully presented and tasted great. The service was warm, friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was nice and intimate, one thing that would have made it perfect was if the music had just been a little louder where we were sat, it was also by a window in February so a little on the cold side but otherwise really lovely decor, lighting and all the rest of it. Would happily recommend and will definitely return again soon!

Incredible meal. High quality food with excellent service topped off with some lovely live music today. Couldn't have asked for a better meal out. They made a celebration meal just perfect.

What a hidden little gem this is! Great food, great wine great atmosphere what is there not to like!

My son snd I enjoyed a super lunch at Toms Table this week . The food and service were absolutely first class . The decor and amber is so lovely and we will definitely be returning very soon. Well done to all the staff and especially to head chef , Tom.

Four of us ate lunch there yesterday from the set menus , excellent quality and good portions

I visited Toms Table for my birthday in January. I'm a tough customer - dairy and gluten intolerant - so my restaurant and menu choices are usually very limited. Imagine my delight when I looked at the Toms menu and realised I could happily choose from all three courses. And not one was a fruit salad or sorbet! The food, wine and service were wonderful. I confess, when it came to my Poached Pear dessert I asked my Mum to be quiet for a moment while I savoured every mouthful. This was a birthday treat I'll be repeating... and I won't be waiting until next year.

lovely food & staff. service was a little slow but not sure if thats because we were upstairs! atmosphere seemed better downstairs... would be nice if they served champagne by the glass and did more classic cocktails :) would definitely go back though x
