Just called in this Indian off chance, they said they where closing in 15 mins but fitted us in. The food was fantastic and the service was spot on. We are moving into this area and will be calling in again!

Pre walk drinks, stunning walk in the beautiful lancashire countrryside and a wonderful meal to match afterwards. Would recommend the Spread Eagle at Sawley.

As always another fabulous meal , went to celebrate my son and his girlfriends exam results , beautifu food, excellent service, lovely warm friendly atmoshere , thank you so much :-)

My wife (Jeanne) and myself stopped at the Edisford Bridge on our way back from St Annes. We enjoyed excellent meals, the quality of the food and service was top notch. Jeanne gave it 10 out of 10 which is not like her, she normally has some complaints.The garden was also a nice place to enjoy a after meal drink. We would both highly recommend this restaurant and we will certainly call again. Alan/ / Jeanne

On 16th July 2014 the lovely people at Great Land held a Cantonese Banquet for Prostate Cancer UK< raising £1650 (so far)https://www.justgiving.com/TheGreatLandCharityBanquet-BB7-9AU/; The 12 course banquet was stunning, top quality and second to none - They have been consistently top caterers since they opened 25 years ago - we can attest to that - have been going all those years. Thank you all.

The Eagle at Barrow is a perfect spot when the sun shines with its large Al Fresco dining area. We enjoyed a great lunch yesterday. I had to have one of their award winning sausages I have heard so much about. I wasn't disappointed! My wife had the Lancashire tart and was similarly impressed. The interior is very well appointed too. So it's a place to go whatever the weather!

The food here is very good and tasty, no doubt I will be Coming again I can't keep away....the staff are very welcoming And nice...I always hang behind the back with my mates And they stop and say hi. One asked me for my age which is nice Because he could have wanted to get to know us....never stop The food its that good.

Cannot praise this restaurant enough. The food is delicious, the staff are so friendly. Been a few times now and love the warm welcome from staff. Every time I've been the food is cooked to perfection (and the vegetables aren't soggy !!!!!) Will be back again soon :)

This is a lovely restaurant. Brill food Pino and his staff are lovely, all make sure you have a good night. Can't wait to go for my 60th birthday in August but will be visiting much sooner too.

Pinot invited our youth club The Friday Night Project ( a club for children and young people with disabilities) to make pizzas at The Villa. All the staff were brilliant with the kids and even showed them their pizzas cooking in the oven. The whole group had a brilliant time and we had ice cream on the patio to finish and a group photo. Thanks to Pinot and the team for the invite to come back in 6 months. Try and stop us.

I've been to La Vespa a few times and me and my partner love it. The food, staff and service are all amazing. Booked for valentines day too... Can't wait x

People very friendly always feel comfortable and food is always lovely nice for a romantic meal or a group of mates.

Buenas notas a los chefs pasteleros de la casa. Massimo amico mio y el dueno Jai es un cabellero y hombre de sinceridad y fidelidad.. He estado muchas veces como guitarrista tocando la musica al fondo y comer la cena que es de una calidad primera tambien. Para que pasar una velada estupenda por favor, mejor visitarla tan pronto.. I recently attended my brother's wedding and the venue was superb, from the excellent Thwaites on tap, friendly and efficient service to the delicious wild mushroom soup and magical views over the valley I could not fault this place. I thought it was excellent that even though the back room was enjoying the wedding celebrations, the front bar was still cosy and full of happy patrons mingling with the odd wedding guest looking for a quiet moment to enjoy a fine single malt by the open fire. The rooms were also excellent, spotlessly clean and with great attention to detail. Breakfast was well worth dragging our weary hungover bodies to, and I gazed out over the misty green hills while stuffing my face with an extra portion of black pudding. The perfect remedy. Excellent place, great service and a good selection of cigars!!

We love La Vespa, the staff are very friendly and welcoming and the restaurant atmosphere is very relaxed and the food is excellent. We love going and we feel like old friends when we come back, we would definitely recommend it!!!!

Just finished a beautiful homemade lasagne sat in front of a roaring fire. Food was excellent and service very good also, highly recommended!!
