Booked the table for 13:00 but wasn’t taken to the table until 13:15 due to only having one person dealing with a queue of people in front of us. Took 20 minutes for our drinks and food order to be taken and the food arrived at 14:11. I appreciate the food is cooked to order but I don’t think having to wait over 80 minutes from the time we should have been seated is great. On the upside, the food was delicious and the serving staff apologised for the wait.

As ever we had a delicious meal. We hadn’t been since the menu had been changed and were spoilt for choice

Deliciously tasty and fresh food! And so nice not to have the usual garden centre type food but top quality interesting meals served to a high standard. The service was very good too, friendly, quick and nothing too much trouble - thank you, I know we’ll be back! :-))

Delicious food, perfect portion size, fresh snd flavourful. Couldn’t ask for a more delicious lunch! Staff are polite and helpful. Good value for money.

Recently had breakfast at the Barn there Pancakes with fruit and yoghurt was delicious, I would recommend if you don't want traditional .

I hd a lovely lunch here with my sister (her first time) not mine. It’s always a lovely atmosphere and good food. Waiting staff are always friendly and accommodating. I find it better to book in advance as it can get quite busy but drop ins can mostly be accommodated but there could be a wait. All round lovely experience.

Excellent food and service as usual. The staff are always so kind and friendly. Lovely setting to enjoy a meal with family and friends.

I visit this cafe a lot mainly for coffee and cake and find there is always a good choice. Particularly for me as I am dairy free. However this week I came for lunch and was really disappointed in how little choice I had. I am not vegan so those options do not interest me. And therefore I ended up with a bowl of chips. Please offer more choice for lactose intolerance and dairy free customers.

Waited an hour for our food and wasn’t even offered a free drink- just feel that the last 2 times has been the worst ever!

Once again, the service was extremely disappointing. 35 minutes before drinks arrived and 55 minutes for my breakfast. Although I think this is a lovely venue, I think the service is slow and the food and drinks overpriced. I very much doubt we will return.

For the first time ever, I was disappointed to have to wait over 40 mins for fish and chips. My friend eventually had to start her coffee and scone as it was getting cold. The staff finally apologised after I queried the delay, but it took the edge off our visit. Normally very good service here

Once again my wife and I experienced a wonderful lunch at the Barn Cafe. We both chose a Barn Burger, Grilled chicken breast with lots of elements. Our meals arrived in good time and as ordered. Each platter arrived with the advertised bowl of triple cooked chips, which were excellent. However, a few moments later an additional bowl of chips arrived much to our surprise and delight. Apparently “the kitchen” weren’t entirely content with serving the initial bowls. The service is always friendly and engaging whilst remaining professional.
