Good food but service was abit slow but I think they was understaffed. Love it here thank you

From the time of arrival to the time we left the service was of a high standard throughout . The food was very enjoyable and beautifully prepared and served quickly. A good morning breakfast was enjoyed by all. Thanks.

Lovely cafe to visit. Great coffee, my only criticism is my fruit scone was a game of hunt the fruit.

Had an excellent roast here, really enjoyed it

We very much enjoyed our Sunday Roast ,we found out too late that we could have had a smaller plate portion, we were all unable to finish our plate,all being very elderly, The vegetables were very fresh would be nice to have a small dish of cauliflower cheese added within in the roast, we paid extra to have this as it is a favourite and that was lovely,the beef was a bit hard to cut but delicious,we usually like dessert but we were too full, We look forward to our next treat.

Lovely place, great service, cakes delicious, had the soup with was very good but at £9.95 very expensive for just bowl of soup would expect some bread it

I met some friends here for lunch, it was lovely, cannot fault the service or food. Such a lovely experience and will be back.

Pleasant atmosphere in The Barn, family friendly, we had a 1 year old at our table and staff were very accommodating. I ordered the quiche but was disappointed, the rest of the meal was ok but there were whole mushrooms in a small individual quiche which made the inside watery and tasteless. But everyone else enjoyed their meal, including the 1 year old.

I’ve had many lovely meals here but the coconut broth with tofu on Sunday was disappointing. Not a great taste (not bad but poor compared to others I’ve tasted) but very poor value at £13.95 plus £5 for the tofu for something which is little more than starter size. Usually the food is good, the service is always great but I can’t recommend this particular dish as value for money

Fabulous Sunday lunch, cauliflower cheese delicious. Could do with sharper knives on the cutlery. Staff very good. Always look forward to our visits.

Spent a lovely afternoon at The Barn having coffee and cake with a friend. The staff were very friendly, excellent service and the very generous slice of cake was delicious too.

Great food and service as usual. It is advisable to book, as always busy even midweek.
