Delicious food, friendly staff. V busy need to book. A great nursery & wonderful shop with stylish homeware.

Thoroughly enjoy going to the barn either to eat or just coffee and cake. Lovely food which is well presented, and the cakes are delicious. A lovely warm atmosphere, comfortable and relaxed. The staff are a friendly bunch, welcoming, cleanly dressed and attentive. Cannot fault it.

Just a bunch of happy cyclists stopping for coffee and cake. The carrot cake was nothing short of excellent. Good coffee too. Service was exceptional. Would come more often but it is almost a 60 mile round trip. Well recommended.

Sunday lunch (roast) very good but getting expensive for what it is. Drinks and extras also far more expensive than most garden centres. I can understand the need to increase prices to cover soaring overheads but your prices are getting excessive.

We had a really lovely breakfast here for my brother's birthday, the staff were so friendly and accommodating even though some of our party was running late due to car trouble. Really couldn't fault it, and so pleased that you offer some gluten free options too!

Very pleasantly impressed with the upgrades since my last visit a few years ago. As a wheel chair user I appreciated the fact that I could get under the table. Had difficulty with the tea-cups, a mug would have helped. Greeting cards selection was first class.

We had lunch to celebrate my stepmom’s birthday and we both chose the same meal. We are so glad we did. The Mediterranean roasted vegetables with pesto sauce on toasted Focaccia bread with the option of Feta cheese was absolutely divine. So tasty. The food and cakes at The Barn is always first class. Service was spot on.

Lovely atmosphere, wonderful food, pleasant stafg.

I am very ambivalent about this place. My colleague had the Lamb Tagline which she said was very good although not a huge portion. My fish and chips was at best mediocre. The peas were like bullets and the chips overcooked and rock-like. The fish was cooked although batter could have been lighter and at £15+ I felt it was overpriced. My Eton mess cake was tasty, but my colleague found her Coffee and Walnut rather dry. The atmosphere is noisy and difficult for conversation and the service is slow. So some good some bad but on the whole a disappointing experience. I am surprised at its popularity which undoubtedly is.
