Lovely evening meal - great atmosphere, food, choice of real ales and service from the local staff. We stayed for two nights, and the room was very comfortable, clean and well equipped, and the breakfast was excellent choice and quality. A lovely stay and excellent value for money. Great to see a community pub thriving, when so many pubs have closed over the last few years.

The food here was fantastic. We all really enjoyed it. Best sticky toffee pudding we’ve ever had. Was very busy but the lady serving us was lovely. Shame about people vaping though. I know it’s personal choice but it got a bit smelly and not great for the asthmatics amongst us.

Lovely, lively pub. We'd booked for one night, bed and breakfast. Room was gorgeous. For our evening meal we had the Sunday roast, which was very nice. Breakfast the next morning, lots of choice and all made to order. Lovely eggs benedict ! All staff were friendly and attentive and we were made very welcome.

Booked 3 rooms for B&B for a night as we were travelling the North on Motorbikes. The car park was next the the accommodation and the rooms were fantastic, clean, comfortable and everything you should need, excellent value for money. Evening meal was good and the young lady serving was exceptional. Food was a great however one meal was forgotten and I had to ask for a member of staff a couple of times to take out dessert order and pay the bill, I took it was due to it being extremely busy. Breakfast was excellent and all the staff were more than helpful. Would definitely go back and stay again. Well done the team.

Our first visit. Very tasty pizzas, and friendly service, would recommend. Pub large enough not to feel crowded.

First visit. Proper pub grub. Very good value for money. Sunday roast, Thai fish pakoras fir starters. Lush Yorkshires, only complaints are plates too small for the generous portions, and knives not sharp enough. Really pleasant service and the pub was busy with a great atmosphere. We'll be back.

We're stayed at the Trawden Arms for one night whilst we were walking on the Brönte Way. It was lovely. The meal was very good ( with excellent service from a very pleasant waiter). Our room was very clean and comfortable. Top marks.

A good family meal. The pub was very busy and the dining room was quite noisy due to a large group eating in the main dining area. We will try to avoid Saturday evenings in future.

It was a pleasure to dine at The Trawden Arms on Friday evening. My guests were duly impressed with the quality of the food, the service and the atmosphere. We enjoyed traditional fish and chips. I have always had good feedback from my guests

We both had the roast beef on Sunday afternoon which was the reason we had gone. The beef was sliced thinly making it easy to cut and there were lots of vegetables and gravy. The service was good and the atmosphere just right. The desserts were excellent and we were so glad we came again.

I had an excellent meal with friends last week. We all ate off the specials menu and our main courses were spot on. Service was to the same high standard as usual. The pub was a little quieter than usual and we were the only group seated in the dining room which was a little lacking in atmosphere. However, it did mean that noise levels were low which was good for our conversation. The pub has just been refurbished and is looking great.

Had a lovely meal on “burger and a pint” Wednesday. Nice beer and great burger (including gluten free bread).

Loved the breakfast, couldn’t fault anything on it came really hot, I’ve had better presented but I’ll let than one go. What let it down was the service we waited an hour to get the breakfast, I’ve never waited so long before, we asked how long it would be thinking the order may have not gone in but was told it was because there was a lot of orders gone in. It didn’t seem overly busy & if that was the case someone should have said that there may be a wait on the breakfast. I would certainly recommend for the food though.
