Cemetery Chippy – ColneWhat an awful experience there is no such thing as service with a smile. The women who served me today thought she was really something. Make out to be an English chippy and its greasy Chinese stodge.
Cemetery Chippy – ColneWe eat here almost every week. Without doubt the best fish and chips restaurant for miles! The service is excellent and quality of food is always spot on. As we have visited more than 100 times in the past 3years without a complaint of any kind says something about the consistent quality of this lovely establishment. David, one of the managers, deserves a special mention as his attention to customers is brilliant. We are now having to follow a gluten free diet but no problem for Bannys as they do GLUTEN FREE FISH BATTER AND DESSERT! Cannot recommend this place highly enough!
Banny’s – ColneAs a vegan of many years I was delighted with my experience at Jim's. The chef was very helpful and was happy to alter any of the dishes to accommodate my vegan and my partner's gluten free diet. The food was excellent, the service was first class 'service with a smile' even though they were clearly very busy and the price was very reasonable, I couldn't fault it at all. We had a wonderful time and will become regular visitors!
Jim’s Vegetarian Restaurant – ColneThis is my favourite restaurant, bar none. Right up my street for the food, ambiance and live music. It's always an adventure. Jim, how about giving my band Tramtown Junction a gig? You can hear them on My Space.
Jim’s Vegetarian Restaurant – ColneAVOID this place if you can cold stale tasteless food, poor even by a drunkard standard!
Tandoori Knights – ColneI dined at Banny's with my wife and our 2 year old girl. It was so nice to see the staff and manager go out of their way to accommodate us. It's never easy eating out with a young child but Banny's really took the pressure off by looking after us from start to finish. The food came quickly (again this helps) and it was fantastic. The best fish and chips we've ever had. Even though it was busy we were never left for too long without being checked on or served. Full commendation to the food and the staff. Excellent
Banny’s – ColneThis restaurant is trading on past times. The food is awful and I question how it is stored as I had food poisoning following some tinned tuna. A friend was also ill following a meal including tuna in the same week. Other people have also complained of stomach upsets following a meal there. The atmosphere may be good but they need to pull their socks up with the food!! Would not go back!
Carlos – Colnei hated it the prices are very high and food i wouldn't feed my dog. RUBBISH!!!!
Carlos – ColneOverpriced and average.
Carlos – ColneI was taken for a surprise meal by my boyfriend. The food was lovely. I have been a vegetarian for over 30 years and it was a pleasure to be able to choose anything off the menu! The restaurant itself is rather quaint! Well worth a visit, my boyfriend and I will be returning again very soon!!
Jim’s Vegetarian Restaurant – ColneFantastic, I love the place! Tex Mex is the best. Jim's is relaxed, the food is fantastic and I have always found the staff to be lovely. Go, it's an experience!
Jim’s Vegetarian Restaurant – ColneGREAT FOOD GREAT SERVICE WHAT MORE COULD YOU ASK
Jim’s Vegetarian Restaurant – ColneI'm a vegan who has been to Jim's many times and never found it a problem to be served a good meal there... the regular menu is quite limited & unimaginative but the weekly specials (of which one is always vegan or can be made vegan) tend to be very tasty... couldn't fault the price or the service & it has a cool little hippyish atmosphere with the piano and live music nights... I have taken all my visiting friends and family from all over the country threre & always enjoyed our evening.
Jim’s Vegetarian Restaurant – ColneI've eaten at Carlos for years and I think its one of the best restaurants in the area, the food is always outstanding and even though its a little pricey its definitely worth it.
Carlos – ColneWent for a meal with a group of friends when we left college a couple of years ago, been a favourite ever since. It has a very relaxed atmosphere and the food is delicious and perfectly portioned. Lovely staff. Definitely one to recommend.
Jim’s Vegetarian Restaurant – ColneI am a vegan that has eaten at Jims with a growing family for the past ten years. The food has always been excellent, fresh and imaginative. Over the years Jim has been happy to amend recipes to suit fickle teenagers, and the atmosphere is very bohemian and relaxed. The staff have always been friendly, and the wines on the wine list are clearly marked vegan, with one exception. My regular experiences have been very different to those of your other vegan visitor. I suggest people try the place. I am sure they would be delighted.
Jim’s Vegetarian Restaurant – ColneSeemed anti vegan, very unhelpful. Surely disinterested chef, Felt humiliated enquiring about vegan food or wine. This was our second attempt to try this place, same attitude each time. Would not recommend to vegans. Other places around far more accommodating.
