Reviews in Fowey

We booked a table for the 30th Sept. The menu choices were excellent, as was the service. We chose the Chowder and Silver Skinned Mullet. They were both very well cooked and the presentation was top drawer.. Add that to the fabulous view of the river and you have a memorable evening.

Tapas on the Terrace was a great success; lovely setting, fab food and excellent service. Well done to the team; especially the chef. Best wishes.

The high standard food and friendly staff that we have become accustomed to....well done all

Thank you for a lovely meal, tasty and the portions were just right.

A real buzz as it was Regatta week and we arrived just as the presentation was happening. As always, Alfie and his team looked after us well and the food was promptly served and absolutely delicious. Some of the best food in Cornwall.

I shared a table with a group of sailors from Oxfordshire, and they were all of the opinion that we at the RFYC have one of the best menus of any yacht club that they have visited. So we must be doing something right!

Fireworks BBQ. Delicious burgers, smooth service, perfect for the occasion.

Evening meal was well presented, tasty and the right portion size. Fabulous view on the terrace, exceptionally attentive service.

Superb food, service and setting

Alfie is a really excellent hands on manager. The food we had was excellent and the whole atmosphere was lovely.

I celebrated with a birthday meal here and everything was brilliant. Exceedingly good food , lovely friendly staff who couldn’t do enough to make my evening special and wonderful views what more could anyone want!

We visited on Sunday, booking a table on the terrace so our little dog could come too. The food was excellent - superb quality and very generous portions. Service was brilliant and the view over the river on a sunny Sunday was just perfect. Highly recommend.

We think that this is currently the best dining offer in Fowey. The food is excellent, service charming and waterside location unbeatable, and all at good value, particularly for members. Thank you!
