Superb food, service and setting

As we have come to expect the food was great with a wide menu choice. The staff are really efficient and friendly. They all seem to work well as a team. We feel it's the best restaurant in Fowey...WELL DONE!

Alfie is a really excellent hands on manager. The food we had was excellent and the whole atmosphere was lovely.

I celebrated with a birthday meal here and everything was brilliant. Exceedingly good food , lovely friendly staff who couldn’t do enough to make my evening special and wonderful views what more could anyone want!

We visited on Sunday, booking a table on the terrace so our little dog could come too. The food was excellent - superb quality and very generous portions. Service was brilliant and the view over the river on a sunny Sunday was just perfect. Highly recommend.

The Yacht Club food and service is now as good as it has ever been. The superb chefs produce an excellent and varied menu. The staff are brilliant under the great leadership of Manager Alfie. Nothing is too much trouble. He even filled up a water bowl for our little dog!

Service with a smile, food brilliant, extremely beautiful setting to be sat having a drink and food watching the world go by on the water. Will always bring friends and family to experience this. Booking process easy and without fuss

The best view of the harbour, with the best food. RFYC have really got it right. With the new retractable awning and a great chef. Welcoming young staff make this the best place to stop on a SW cruise.

Booked a table tonight for 8.15 online but when we arrived we were told we had booked late and a large table had booked meanwhile so we wouldn’t be served to 9pm. Please sort out your online system so this doesn’t happen again. We’re a visiting yacht so could have eaten on board if we had known rather than going on the river taxi into Fowey.

Great food, lovely gift for mothers day. Very thoughtful. Style over substance with gravy boat. No handle and so hot, it burnt fingers. Also, when attempting to add a tip the service charge was already on the bill. As a personal choice I prefer to be asked on this. Will definitely visit again though.

Absolutely delicious food and brilliant atmosphere. The roast beef is to die for. Staff are lovely, would not fault anything!

We had a table for 7 of us ladies who play badminton together. We were sampling a Fowey Food Week menu of Spanish Tapas. We had one dish of everything to share. Good portions and very affordable prices. Delicious food and good service, thank you.

We stayed and ate at the Fowey Hotel last week and feel compelled to mention that we had a wonderful night away. The food was truly memorable, the staff were attentive with just the right amount of attention and so friendly/welcoming. We took advantage of the nightly offer including Dinner, Bed and Breakfast and consider this to be exceptional value for money, we recommend spending a little more and upgrading to a sea facing Select or Premier room as the views are truly breath taking. Parking is a little tight so do book a parking space on making your reservation, it's worth it. We will definitely be returning as there is so much we would like to see and do, a Cornish gem that we will recommend to all our friends, thank you. S and J

i love this place i take my kids in for breakfast, they love the maple syrup pancakes or should i say crepes as they like to call, staff are really friendly and the service is unbeatable.
