We love visiting the Lookout when we stay at Retallack. The atmosphere together with great, helpful staff and service are a real asset to the resort.

Absolutely fabulous evening. Great food and generous portions, so fresh and cooked well too. Cocktails amazing and even free birthday shot for my daughter. This is the third time we have visited and it hasn’t failed to impress us! The staff are delightful and so happy and helpful, I can’t recommend this place enough!

Very disappointed with our visit to restaurant. We ordered our drink and food , and 20 minutes later we got our food. Unfortunately we still had not received our drinks. The food on arrival was disappointing to say the least. I had a simple fish and chips and found the chips the peas and curry dipping sauce Luke warm. Fish was very nice and hot. This was not exceptable given the £12.95 cost. My husband had scampi and even though he ate it it was basic and expensive. Sadly we did not eat there again. The experience was noisy, not worth the money. We really liked the resort though.

Went to Lemon Twist last night for food & drinks with 3 girlfriends - what a great night we had ! From the delicious food, moreish cocktails & fabulous service, we will definitely be back ! A great place with really great staff, food & drinks xx

Lemon Twist is slowly becoming my favourite place to eat in Cornwall! Even though there was a slight mishap with my food, the staff got it sorted out fuss free and as quickly as they good. Super friendly environment, excellent staff and the best vegan tacos in Cornwall!

Fantastic modern set up, lovely service and delicious food, all at very reasonable price. Dog friendly. We visited during off peak and the waiting time for food was very good. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed two nights at Lemon Twist this week, the first one we had a few cocktails and some tapas and it was amazing. Food and drinks were delicious, the staff were very attentive and friendly. On the second night, which we booked after enjoying the first one so much, we had some more cocktails - and enjoyed more amazing food. An all-round brilliant experience on both nights, and we would highly recommend a visit if you’re in Falmouth!

Firstly, the staff are lovely! We visited twice for meals during October half-term and several times more for drinks and found everyone to be friendly and helpful. Secondly, since our last visit a couple of years back, Lookout has had a smart refurb and the space reworked. It's much nicer. Food - sadly this was not on a par with the staff and the venue. We didn't know in advance that there was only pizza on a Sunday. Slightly odd and a bit disappointing, albeit the pizza was OK. On our 2nd visit, there were significant shortages so no one could really have their first meal choice. Not then helped by the wrong dessert being brought for the kids. By that point no-one could be bothered to say anything. Whilst not overly expensive, there are plenty of places priced more reasonably, although not close to the site. All in all, its an attractive venue with lovely staff, but is suffering from shortages which you notice in this price bracket.

Really lovely meal. Amazing cocktails. Best in Falmouth. My now favourite restaurant!! Only complaint was sitting with a wide open door, it was so cold however I do understand with covid.

Awful. Booked an early 6:30 table for the kids tea, by 8:30 we still hadn’t had our mains despite chasing several times. When they arrived the burgers were dried up, the peas were shrivelled, dry and grey, everything else was out of a packet. The staff told us how short staffed they were. They made no attempt to apologise or compensate. Terrible customer service.

We had a lovely meal at the Look Out. We visited with four kids and they had plenty to suit all tastes. The service was quick and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I had the nachos to share - which were delicious. The atmosphere was also good enough for our 15 year old boys. We’ve booked to go back before the end of our holiday.
