1st time visiting lemon twist, couldn’t get in, in May when we were last down. We had a lovely evening, food excellent, staff couldn’t do enough for us, really friendly. Will definitely visit again when down visiting family.

Lemon Twist – FalmouthWe enjoyed a very nice meal at the molesworth recently food was excellent and service from our initial waitress was very good and friendly. However her shift finished at 9pm and service after was poor. We are locals and eat on a regular basis at the pub and it’s upmarket boathouse. Menu in pub is more varied but boathouse is lovely.
Molesworth Arms – WadebridgeFood was ok, though would be great to see some salad, risotto, healthy options … staff fantastic, couldn’t do enough to help.
The Lookout Bar and Eatery – NewquayThe staff where over worked and worn out! I felt really sorry for them
The Lookout Bar and Eatery – NewquayGreat service, lovely food
Molesworth Arms – WadebridgeThe restaurant itself is lovely but the menu and the food was extremely disappointing. The menu was very limited and uninspiring with very basic burgers, fish and chips etc. You got the impression they were trying to cut costs (cheap ingredients etc) with the food and had run out of most of the desserts but 7pm. Given the cost of the chalets at Retallack I’d hoped for much better.
The Lookout Bar and Eatery – NewquayFirst meal out with visiting family for ages and, as usual at Lemon Twist, we weren't disappointed. Lovely quiet table at the back, attentive and prompt service without fussing and great food and drink. Missing the Seafood Platter but fish tacos, mussels and garlic prawns made up for that. Great to be back. Hopefully will become a regular haunt again.
Lemon Twist – FalmouthStayed in Wadebridge for a four night holiday exploring Cornwall and booked the Molesworth Arms for dinner four months earlier for our last night. Disappointed to be led to a table in the corner but was sure the food and service would make up for it...how wrong we were. The feeling we had was we were shoved in a corner out of the way and forgotten about, took ages to get an order and when I asked how much the wine was per bottle as they only showed by the glass on the menu, returned with a seemingly made up figure. Main courses were pub fayre at best but would like to see a dessert menu and maybe order more drinks...no chance as nobody arrived to offer us anything after waiting over half an hour decided we'd just ask for the bill, had to literally shout out from our corner to get it! When I told the waitress we were disapponted she said they were very busy and they only have their own area to serve!!! Pretty poor, told them would not be returning to this place if we ever find ourselves in Wadebridge again.
Molesworth Arms – WadebridgeDreadful, had to walk out as completely ignored, the 3 staff we did see didn’t seem to have a clue what they were doing. How to treat customers etc etc on all occasions we had to use lookout restaurant it was hard work, no manager in sight!!
The Lookout Bar and Eatery – NewquayExcellent service from Kieran and the other staff. Food was lovely. Sat outside in the sun, such a lovely place.
Molesworth Arms – WadebridgeThe restaurant is very stylish in design and interior but the food was disappointing. It’s a shame as we wouldn’t revisit.
The Lookout Bar and Eatery – NewquayWent for an evening meal at The Boatyard and stayed overnight at the pub while over visiting family in Bodmin. Massive improvement in the look and feel of the place now it has been taken over an redecorated. We had the sharing platter for two and both my wife and I thought it was amazing food and great value for money. Very impressed. The service was ok but in places was a little unprofessional, mainly due to lack of age/ experience with the waiting on/ bar staff. Would definitely recommend this restaurant, pub and the B&B to anyone visiting Wadebridge or North Cornwall.
Molesworth Arms – WadebridgeMediocre. Service was slow, took a long time for drinks to arrive, main course wasn’t too bad, but then took a while for additional sauces to arrive. Had to ask for another drink and dessert menu, both of which then took a while to arrive again, also had to ask for the bill. Staff were pleasant and friendly enough, but seemed chaotic and disorganised, seemed to be a lot of wandering around aimlessly and chatting at the bar by the young ladies working. I had hoped for a bit more character given the history of the pub, but it was more of a generic pub type interior. Scruffy appearance of waiting staff didn’t help, I know it’s not a top class restaurant, but lots of scruffy faded jeans, plastic fashion belts, chunky trainers etc didn’t help the appearance. Drinks were fine, but expensive for location. Food (surf and turf/steak on a stone) was lovely and the main redeeming feature. Dessert was poor, eton mess sundae was mainly ice cream with a small squirt of strawberry sauce, and a small meringue on top. In all, ok for a pub meal, not worth pushing the boat out though and paying for dessert, drinks etc as well as rapidly ends up expensive for mediocre evening. Food quality needs improving for the price charged and some work on service standards and efficiency of staff.
Molesworth Arms – WadebridgeSunday lunch at a busy time. No complaints, excellent food and good service.
Molesworth Arms – WadebridgeWhat a fab evening such a friendly venue all the staff were buzzy attentive and had the feeling they genuinely cared that you had a great experience Good was delicious and reasonably priced Would definitely recommend
Lemon Twist – FalmouthVery poor experience. Food was mediocre. Service appalling. We left before we had desert. Ordered it with two different staff members and after 40 minutes we still hadn’t received it so cancelled order. How long can it take to cut a piece of cheesecake. We weren’t the only ones having a poor experience, two other tables round us had issues. If managed well it could be a success.
Molesworth Arms – WadebridgeGreat food & ambiance we will defo return been few times now better every time we go usually with the girls x
Lemon Twist – FalmouthThe new decor is very nice with a good mixture of seating. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food is very ‘Pub grub’ but that’s fine. The quality was good and very good portion size. Chocolate brownies were very good! Pizzas are fantastic, some of the best we’ve had and we had these as takeaway on our second night. Toppings a bit different to standard ones you would expect which was nice.
