Typical tourist trap restaurant, overpriced and poor quality. We visited this summer for the first time, and although regularly holiday in the area we will never return to the Clipper. The fish pie was expensive, didn't appear to contain anything resembling fish, and the portion size was small, served with a pathetic excuse for a side salad. The drinks were expensive and served in small tumblers. I can only assume they can stay in business due to the large number of unsuspecting tourists they must have as customers. Steer clear of this one !

Ate here 14th Sept 07. We were very impressed with the food, service and atmosphere. Nicely presented and clean restaurant. Tasty and fresh food. Good value for money. Nothing was too much trouble, the waitress was helpful and friendly, she went out of her way to accommodate our requests. We are quite fussy about the quality of the food when we eat out, and we couldn't fault it and even think it was the best Chinese meal out we have ever had. Good result as we didn't have a clue where to eat in Falmouth and chose it because it looked nice from the outside when we were walking past. Highly recommend eating here.

This is the first time we have visited Bustopher Jones. The atmosphere and staff was very friendly, and the food superb. We are both vegetarians so we had lovely bread, olives, and balsamic vinegar and olive oil dip to start. We followed by Haloumi and Vegetable char grilled kebabs with Pitta bread, humous, salad and cherry tomatoes, plus a side of lovely thin fries. All the food was excellent, as was the large glasses of Chilean Merlot. Superb coffee. All in all a very good lunch!

Just come back from this place, was a bit quiet (being a Monday night) but the atmosphere, music etc couldn't be faulted. I had the all you can eat buffet, which was great value at £12.95. The food tasted as if it had been cooked to order and not re-heated. The staff were also very friendly.

I recently went to Bude with a friend and we had fish and chips at Sizzlers. I don't usually get excited about fish and chips, but i can honestly say it was the best i have ever had! The Haddock tasted like it had just come out of the sea, the batter was really light and crisp, not greasy at all and the chips were perfect. 10 out of 10!

Sunday September9th, 2007, what a great place to find really decent cooking in the St Austell area. This part of Cornwall has been something of desert when it comes to good places to eat and in this new venue, what is guaranteed is very good raw materials which are then turned into really great food. Extremely good service and a good international wine list ensured we had a fantastic dinner. Strongly recommended if you are looking for serious food near St Austell.

One of the best Inns in North Cornwall. There is the newish dining area which caters for all and the old character side of the Inn where locals are able to enjoy a quiet pint away from the "tourists". Probably the best Sunday Roast (carvery) in Cornwall and I love the fact that they serve all day from 12-9pm instead of the usual British dash from 12-2pm. Wish all Pubs were like this! Really helpful Staff in unpretentious setting.

The restaurant was nice and the waitress was friendly, but the food was really terrible. The mussels we had for starter smelt off. the sirloin steak turned out to be rump and was completely overcooked as were the crunchy chips that came with it. Even the peppers in the salad were mouldy. As for my guests meal, the tuna steak looked and tasted like something out of a nightmare. Honestly, it was grey, and so chewy, the first small bite was enough. As for the prawns that went with it, who knows what happened to them but they were soggy and disgusting. My guest found it inedible. We left the restaurant swiftly and feeling rather nauseous. I can safely say it was one of the worst meals we have had for a very long time, how anyone can get it so wrong is beyond belief.

Friends and I had the pleasure of having dinner here during a recent trip to Padstow. We could not say enough about the experience. The food was excellent, very creative dishes and beautifully presented. The staff was very knowledgeable, helpful and attentive. Contrary to the popularity of the Stein name (which in our opinion, is very overrated) this restaurant is TOPS. Keep up the good work!

This bar/bistro offers a great deck area (for the summer) and the inside is tastefully furnished even down to local artists pictures. Recommend the Fish cakes or Tempura prawns for starter and follow it with either the Lobster or seabass. Didn’t try dessert so can’t comment. All in all an excellent meal with great setting (sunset over ocean)

This was a real find for us as The Digey Food Room serves cooked food throughout the day; so we were able to eat whenever we were hungry - or when the rain drove us in off the beach, which is nearby. On the (rare) occasions we wanted to eat in our apartment, we were able to buy wondrous food from the deli too. My top favourite were Toni's home-made quiches and fab olives (the big ones). We bought lots of local Cornish produce to take home as gifts. I running out of space to say more good things. Fab!

I first went to Hobblers last summer and had such n amazing meal that we went back whilst on holiday in Cornwall this year. The food is by far the best we had during both holidays with the most amazing fish. And the service and welcome that we received both times was fantastic and we will be returning on our holiday next year aswell no matter where we end up in Cornwall. I highly recommend this Restaurant you would be mad not to give it a try!!

This place is not just about the view, the food is awesome and excellent value too. The seafood tasted really fresh and was cooked beautifully. If you like chocolate, the hot chocolate mouse is the perfect finish. It tastes sublime. Definitely recommend a visit.
