Just come back from this place, was a bit quiet (being a Monday night) but the atmosphere, music etc couldn't be faulted. I had the all you can eat buffet, which was great value at £12.95. The food tasted as if it had been cooked to order and not re-heated. The staff were also very friendly.

I recently went to Bude with a friend and we had fish and chips at Sizzlers. I don't usually get excited about fish and chips, but i can honestly say it was the best i have ever had! The Haddock tasted like it had just come out of the sea, the batter was really light and crisp, not greasy at all and the chips were perfect. 10 out of 10!

Sunday September9th, 2007, what a great place to find really decent cooking in the St Austell area. This part of Cornwall has been something of desert when it comes to good places to eat and in this new venue, what is guaranteed is very good raw materials which are then turned into really great food. Extremely good service and a good international wine list ensured we had a fantastic dinner. Strongly recommended if you are looking for serious food near St Austell.

One of the best Inns in North Cornwall. There is the newish dining area which caters for all and the old character side of the Inn where locals are able to enjoy a quiet pint away from the "tourists". Probably the best Sunday Roast (carvery) in Cornwall and I love the fact that they serve all day from 12-9pm instead of the usual British dash from 12-2pm. Wish all Pubs were like this! Really helpful Staff in unpretentious setting.

The restaurant was nice and the waitress was friendly, but the food was really terrible. The mussels we had for starter smelt off. the sirloin steak turned out to be rump and was completely overcooked as were the crunchy chips that came with it. Even the peppers in the salad were mouldy. As for my guests meal, the tuna steak looked and tasted like something out of a nightmare. Honestly, it was grey, and so chewy, the first small bite was enough. As for the prawns that went with it, who knows what happened to them but they were soggy and disgusting. My guest found it inedible. We left the restaurant swiftly and feeling rather nauseous. I can safely say it was one of the worst meals we have had for a very long time, how anyone can get it so wrong is beyond belief.

Friends and I had the pleasure of having dinner here during a recent trip to Padstow. We could not say enough about the experience. The food was excellent, very creative dishes and beautifully presented. The staff was very knowledgeable, helpful and attentive. Contrary to the popularity of the Stein name (which in our opinion, is very overrated) this restaurant is TOPS. Keep up the good work!

Loved this restaurant, very romantic set on the beach, food exquisite and service outstanding

This bar/bistro offers a great deck area (for the summer) and the inside is tastefully furnished even down to local artists pictures. Recommend the Fish cakes or Tempura prawns for starter and follow it with either the Lobster or seabass. Didn’t try dessert so can’t comment. All in all an excellent meal with great setting (sunset over ocean)

Fire Bar Bistro and Grill – Newquay

This was a real find for us as The Digey Food Room serves cooked food throughout the day; so we were able to eat whenever we were hungry - or when the rain drove us in off the beach, which is nearby. On the (rare) occasions we wanted to eat in our apartment, we were able to buy wondrous food from the deli too. My top favourite were Toni's home-made quiches and fab olives (the big ones). We bought lots of local Cornish produce to take home as gifts. I running out of space to say more good things. Fab!

I first went to Hobblers last summer and had such n amazing meal that we went back whilst on holiday in Cornwall this year. The food is by far the best we had during both holidays with the most amazing fish. And the service and welcome that we received both times was fantastic and we will be returning on our holiday next year aswell no matter where we end up in Cornwall. I highly recommend this Restaurant you would be mad not to give it a try!!

This place is not just about the view, the food is awesome and excellent value too. The seafood tasted really fresh and was cooked beautifully. If you like chocolate, the hot chocolate mouse is the perfect finish. It tastes sublime. Definitely recommend a visit.

We had a very pleasant time at Toast. It was pooring with train in Falmouth and I wasn't in the best of moods when we walked in to shelter from the rain, but the style, service and sustenance in the bar brightened my day. Would recommend to anyone

Oh joy to find a little gourmet food pub after a lovely day at the beach just as the skies opened and we needed a place to relax and shelter. This place is very popular with locals and regular tourists and so unless you have booked it is difficult to find a table. A few tables are left unbooked each evening but you need to get there at opening time to bag one. The stone walled 'galley' is an conversion of a bowling alley within the pub and has beautiful views across the sea. Children under 14 are not allowed to eat in the bar which is where most tables are so you need to plan ahead for this one. The Galley is the family area with board games, toys and books to keep them happy. The seafood was just gorgeous. This pub serves real food for you. And for the children which is unusual in our experience for the U.K. Local produce is used and there is a very extensive menu as well as regular specials. They have their own ale which is very mellow but also serve the very wonderful Sharps's Ales on draft. Cannot comment on the wine, coffee or bread which are my usual thermometers for a good place. But with the other measures it came out tops ! The loos were clean. The owners Dad was an entertaining gentleman who circulated as if it were his own private party and he wanted to be sure you were all happy. The views were stunning - moody skies and the food was as my 12 year would say 'Awesome'.

Had a fantastic meal & evening! Food was amazing, scallops, local seafood & great puddings, fantastic, friendly & efficient staff, all topped off by a fantastic sunset! Thankyou

Probably the best restaurant in Falmouth. Expensive but worth every penny.

Standard Pizza Express but in a great location. New staff seem to be having problems getting the oven to temperature and bases of Pizza were a little soggy. But when up to speed probably the only pizza express with a £3 million pound view.
