Excellent
The Red Lion – CoventryFabulous looking restaurant. Fatima and Rouli, were great, really friendly. The food is amazing, generous portions and really tasty. Can't wait to visit again.
Aqua Food and Mood – CoventryGood service, good food and a reasonable price. Consistently good.
The Red Lion – CoventryExcellent quality food giving good value for money. Speedway of service and location of table could have been better.
The Red Lion – CoventryTook my fiancé here for her birthday, and we enjoyed every moment of it. Inside the restaurant looks great, and the vibe is friendly and relaxed. We couldn't decide which of the mains to order since they all sounded fantastic, the waitress suggested the "Full Mezza for 2" which was 3 courses, each consisting of a little-bit-of-everything. This was the 5th of 6th restaurant we've ate at since moving to Coventry and it is best so far by a mile. All of the staff we polite and attentive. We can't wait to go back.
Aqua Food and Mood – CoventryExcellent food, friendly polite staff, enjoyable visit.
The Red Lion – CoventryA lovely lunch at the Red Lion. Good food in nice surroundings served by very pleasant staff.
The Red Lion – CoventryLovely pub in a great location with a large outdoor area. Food was great as was the service. The prices are very reasonable too. All the staff were very friendly. We will certainly be back.
The Red Lion – CoventryCame to celebrate my sister-in-laws birthday. As usual, service was excellent and lovely large portions. Pate served with plenty of bread - some place only give two measly small pieces but here, plenty!! The portion sizes brat my sister-in-law, who cannot stop talking about the tasty Tennessee Chicken. We all had two courses but, sadly, had no room for desserts!
The Red Lion – CoventryExcellent home cooked food and service as always!
The Red Lion – CoventryYesterday was another fantastic Sunday lunch at Coombe Hall. My husband and I enjoyed the atmosphere, and the food was excellent. Unlike a traditional busy pub or restaurant, the service is really good and always friendly, never overcrowded or noisy and just a lovely meal out. Great that we can also bring dessert home to enjoy with a movie later in the day.
Coombe Hall – CoventryBit pricey but worth the treat food perfect and lovely staff
The Red Lion – CoventryA pleasant lunch at a busy Saturday lunchtime, somewhat affected by parents not controlling their children at adjoining tables. Food fine although I found my main course of faggots a little too spicy, but my son enjoyed his chicken. My son’s request for no ice in his drink was not met and we were given the wrong bill at the end of the lunch. I think it was all quite an expensive meal for what we had, particularly with VAT added on the final bill.
The Red Lion – CoventrySorry, I won a 2 free 2 course meal. It was only a set menu, we were never told that. The x2 person mezze would have been nothing we would have chosen. Sorry but if you offer a voucher, you really do need to put the T&C's on it. It was not good. We both left really disappointed from that
Aqua Food and Mood – CoventryAlways good food at the Red Lion, nothing fancy just good pub grub. Service and price is ok too.
The Red Lion – CoventryWe have been coming to to this pub/restaurant for the last 15 years and the food doesn’t disappoint. Went Sunday and food excellent as always
The Red Lion – CoventrySunday lunch at The Red Lion was nothing short of amazing. Huge plate of mixed meats beautifully cooked, huge Yorkshire and fabulous roasties. Big dish of mixed greens and another of cauliflower cheese. Can't praise it enough.
