I had previously visited your Nottingham branch and was very satisfied with the service and food. Therefore, when I saw the new Warwick branch opening, I immediately made a reservation. However, this visit was quite disappointing. The variety and quantity of food were limited, the taste was average, and the space was rather small. There is a noticeable difference compared to the Nottingham branch. I would honestly prefer to pay a higher price if it meant having more food options and better quality. Additionally, I found the “2 dine for 1” offer to be somewhat unfair, as it only applies to adults. Children are not included in the promotion, and at 140cm, my child was charged £10, while two adults only paid £18.99 in total. This pricing structure seems unreasonable and disappointing.

Arrived at 15.45 for Sunday lunch staff very welcoming however the food was not. We’ve been a few times previously and had a wonderful roast but it was very disappointing this time. Food cold and poor vegetable selection just a plate of cold shredded cabbage. Also the whole place looked like it needs a face lift especially the toilets, high chairs and kids area in the garden.

Good food, hearty portions, efficient service even when they are busy, what's not to like?

Booked for two for a Monday lunch, arrived on time to be shown a more than adequate table and ordered from the lunch menu (starter and main) both arrived well presented and timely. The garlic mushrooms, pate and steak and guiness pie were to die for at a very reasonable price, we'll certainly be booking again in the future. Great pub atmosphere, friendly staff and convivial outside space.

We’ve eaten here before and it’s been nice enough. We booked the Sunday as we wanted the Sunday dinner. Arrived late afternoon, firstly they run out of turkey and belly pork. Then a few minutes after taking our order we were told they didn’t have any Sunday dinners left at all. All other meals are with chips, no sides of potatoes or anything different instead of having to have chips. Took ages for someone to even come and take an order, around 20 minutes, in fact a table tat sat down after us were served first. Couldn’t get a drink at the bar for ages as they were completing orders from tables before serving at the bar in the restaurant. The staff though were polite and friendly when we did eventually talk with them, although the first person to greet us, possibly a manager or owner looked like they really couldn’t be bothered to be there. Other servers were nice though. We eventually left as the start of the journey was disappointing and the fact that they run out of Sunday dinners on a Sunday seemed a bit disorganised. Appreciate places can be busy, but I also think you should cater for specific days if that’s one of your selling points

Disappointing first visit. Booked a table, was very busy as expected. Food took way longer than were advised it might be. Had to ask twice. Food was not of the standard it should be for the price we paid. I understand it gets busy when the sun comes out but nearly 2 hours for food is not acceptable. Service also wasn’t the best. Will not be returning or recommending.

Steak pie was very tasty and full of lean steak. The lasagne was one of the best my wife has had. Reasonable priced wine. Comfortable pub with nice atmosphere. We will have to enquire about the loyalty scheme

Steak was delightful and the dirty burger was just something else!! Both meals were amazing. The meal was a nice quiet birthday celebration for a couple with down time from family commitments and so worth the visit. Staff were polite and helped with anything that was asked of them. Food on the higher end but worth it occasionally. Highly recommended.

Excellent quality food giving good value for money. Speedway of service and location of table could have been better.

Took my fiancé here for her birthday, and we enjoyed every moment of it. Inside the restaurant looks great, and the vibe is friendly and relaxed. We couldn't decide which of the mains to order since they all sounded fantastic, the waitress suggested the "Full Mezza for 2" which was 3 courses, each consisting of a little-bit-of-everything. This was the 5th of 6th restaurant we've ate at since moving to Coventry and it is best so far by a mile. All of the staff we polite and attentive. We can't wait to go back.
