Have never eaten here before. The food was delicious, well presented and the general atmosphere was really good and comfortable. Great portion size and service. Will definitely be back again. Highly recommend!

My mum and I had a lovely meal at the Red Lion, being vegetarian there are only usually a couple of options but I was very impressed with the recipe and the meal was delicious. So definitely a 5 star review off us! I would definitely recommend and will definitely visit again! I must add the waitress was very friendly and efficient.

We were shown to our table promptly, the pub was warm and cosy, with log fires giving a lovely ambiance. The food was delicious, generous portions and piping hot. The lunchtime menu is fantastic value, two courses for £16 or three courses for £20. The staff were attentive and are an asset to the pub.

The food was delicious and came promptly. Atmosphere good. Only thing letting it down was the slow and sometimes lack of service .

Menu needs some updating, to pre-covid times . Please bring back chicken moz , curries spaghetti bolagnase, ect . And your homemade trifle and tiramisu were amazing, PLEASE..

Once again the service and food was excellent. We brought friends who have never been before, they loved the food, the atmosphere, and the service of the as usual excellent staff.

Unfortunately since covid our favourite go to pub has scaled down it's original menu ,which initially was fine ,but ...we regard ourselves regulars for special occasions, and going 4-6 times a year ,we are now stuck with the limited same meals that have been on the menu for a long time now ..... Please bring back chicken moz ,curries ,spaghetti bolognaise, and lovely trifle and tiramisu

Food order was incorrect, the buttermilk chicken burger came out as a beef burger, lucky it was spotted before having a bit. The chips looked like they had been fried a few times, and should not have been sent out.

Outstanding staff, excellent food

Food was great, it came out hot and quick, wasnt waiting long at all. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and even smiling throughout. I would definately come here again, as me, my mum, my nephew and my daughter enjoyed the food and the atmosphere was lovely.

This was the first visit for me although my friends had been before. The gammon was fine but it would be much better being smaller and thicker. Some of the chips were black and shouldn't have left the kitchen, fortunately there were plenty of them.
