Come to the red lion on Mother’s Day with 6 adults and a child. Service was good and friendly they also went out their way to check what my daughter could and couldn’t have with allergies and made her a garlic bread with vegan butter which made her very happy. All food tasted great and fresh trio off meats roast what a very generous portion.

Food was amazing as always. Only concern was a new girl on shift who got treated badly by manager in front of staff and customer

Really good food. And great atmosphere. With a log burner at the side of us on a winters night. Reasonably priced and will definitely be visiting again soon

A friend and I had lunch at The Red Lion yesterday. Staff friendly Food hot and tasty. We'll be back.

We visited as a party of seven and as ever were not disappointed. The staff were great. The pub itself has a nice ambience and the food was fantastic. I can highly recommend a ribeye steak with a Texas topping. You will not regret it.

Booked table online. Warm, homely reception on arrival. Myself and friend had steak - cooked perfectly. Staff made a real fuss of us, like family. Always considered that everything was to our liking or required anything more. Custard was not piping hot and quickly rectified with apologies. Such lovely service and delicious main, pudding ans drinks

What a wonderful restaurant, friendly staff that cannot do enough for you., The food was excellent of very high quality and plentiful. To the two and three course menu at lunchtime is ideal. Totally enjoyed the experience and will be returning soon.

Food was lovely, although service was a bit disjointed that is to say that a table of two like ourselves that came in half an hour after us got served there starter whilest we were still waiting for our main (we did not have a starter) however that said the staff were very lovely and accommodating ,
