Faggot and peas beautiful also loved the Christmas decorations
The Red Lion – CoventryMain disappointment was the quality of the mixed grill. The steak was over cooked and small, there was only one sausage and this was charred. (The menu states “sausages”. The Wall Hill chicken was over cooked and tough with the cheese topping being almost solid. Service polite but very slow.
The Red Lion – CoventryWe booked to come for food and we were not disappointed! Can’t wait to return. Thank you!
The Red Lion – CoventryCannot fault The Red Lion. Went with family and friends on a busy Saturday evening. The service was excellent, really friendly staff. The food was delicious, big portions and very tasty. Would definitely recommend.
The Red Lion – CoventryFantastic food will definitely be back. Best roast ever
Coombe Hall – CoventryLovely atmosphere really warm welcome by the staff service was excellent would recommend it to family and friends.
The Red Lion – CoventryOur favourite place for a girls' lunch. Delicious food and great service in a lovely atmosphere.
The Red Lion – CoventryThe room is always chilly. The food was cooked incorrectly and the salad was served without a dressing. Take your own condiments because they use catering condiments here. You would have thought that they could provide customers with decent condiments for the prices charged.
The Red Lion – CoventryWe had a lovely time at the Red Lion yesterday. The staff were all lovely and made us feel very welcome. The meals we chose were all delicious. Only one downside - I was horrified to find out my pint of lemon and lime cost £4.90. That is a lot of money for a soft drink - maybe I'm just out of touch. Look forward to our next visit in about a months time. Would definitely recommend the Red Lion
The Red Lion – CoventryWe were a table of 4 people and were booked in at 1:00pm for a Saturday lunch my partner was disappointed that the menu was different than the weekday lunch menu as the last time we were there she had the battered chicken strips with chilli sauce and rice. When the waitress came to take the meal order my partner asked if it was possible to have the dish from the weekday lunch menu , the waitress went and asked the chef if it could be had as it was a Saturday lunch the answer was yes so she was extremely happy with the outcome. Absolutely brilliant above and beyond service could not Fault any of the other meals either. Well done all the kitchen and staff it made our day Thank you and kind regards Rich Payne
The Red Lion – CoventryLovely ambience, great service, lovely food. Good value. Will definitely be returning, thank you.
The Red Lion – CoventryLovely food great service
The Red Lion – CoventryGreat food always tasty and lovely friendly staff
The Red Lion – CoventryPleasant lunchtime. Food was good… homemade chicken and leek pie, good vegetables. Dogs allowed in bar only which lacks a bit of atmosphere but ok.
The Red Lion – CoventryBooked a table for five family members, had a great time, food was brilliant and the staff were great, they were really busy, but we did not have to wait long at all, great service, we will be back again very soon.
The Red Lion – CoventryExcellent service. Food was delicious. The only issue we had was one of our drinks was served in a glass which had at least 4 what looked like dog hairs in and on the glass. The drink was changed straight away
The Red Lion – CoventryReally good food, great friendly service and good value. Very nice country setting.
