We were shown to our table promptly, the pub was warm and cosy, with log fires giving a lovely ambiance. The food was delicious, generous portions and piping hot. The lunchtime menu is fantastic value, two courses for £16 or three courses for £20. The staff were attentive and are an asset to the pub.

The Red Lion – CoventryUnfortunately since covid our favourite go to pub has scaled down it's original menu ,which initially was fine ,but ...we regard ourselves regulars for special occasions, and going 4-6 times a year ,we are now stuck with the limited same meals that have been on the menu for a long time now ..... Please bring back chicken moz ,curries ,spaghetti bolognaise, and lovely trifle and tiramisu
The Red Lion – CoventryFood order was incorrect, the buttermilk chicken burger came out as a beef burger, lucky it was spotted before having a bit. The chips looked like they had been fried a few times, and should not have been sent out.

The Red Lion – CoventryFood was great, it came out hot and quick, wasnt waiting long at all. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and even smiling throughout. I would definately come here again, as me, my mum, my nephew and my daughter enjoyed the food and the atmosphere was lovely.
The Red Lion – CoventryThis was the first visit for me although my friends had been before. The gammon was fine but it would be much better being smaller and thicker. Some of the chips were black and shouldn't have left the kitchen, fortunately there were plenty of them.
