The food was delicious but the non alcoholic wine was terrible and had no resemblance to wine despite looking appealing with Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignot varieties on the wine list. I suggest the restaurant just focus on non alcoholic beverages that actually taste good - there are huge numbers of good 0% alcohol quality beers. I am rating this low because of the poor quality and very expensive drinks.

My first visit to this pub & I will certainly go back. The food & service were faultless. Good value for money too.

I haven’t been here for a while and we had a show at the Albany Theatre so came here as we like this kind of food and it was close to the venue. Lovely waitress took our order and the food could not be faulted, very tasty and very authentic in a well decorated dining area. I have a couple of issues though. There was a charge of 75p for a glass of tap water and the non alcoholic drinks were as expensive as what their alcoholic equivalent would be. Nearly £20 for a non alcoholic bottle of wine? I also think putting a 10% surcharge on the bill is unnecessary as the staff worked very hard and would easily get this in tips and this should have been left to the diners discretion.

A disappointing start to the evening as we arrived to be told we were to be seated outside. Apparently there is an option when booking the meal to choose (it wasnt on the form I used). We felt a bit like goldilocks in the the table outside was too cold and noisy , so we moved to another table which was far too hot. We moved back to the other table.. from this point t it got better as someone tried to fix the heating however it was broken and extremely noisy so we were offered a table inside....the meal and staff inside were excellent.

Couldn’t ask for better!! Every time we come, everyone’s so lovely and welcoming! The service is always 10/10, even to the fussy grandparents moan ( haha) The food is always amazing and value for money.

Good quality Sunday carvery. Service was underwhelming. Bill was wrong and had to be changed. Staff talking in a group when we were waiting to order.

Came for Sunday lunch on several recommendations and we weren't disappointed. We both had the carvery and the food was excellent. We were greeted and looked after by Andy who made sure we got everything we wanted. Will definitely come back again.
