Went to the crown for Sunday carvery with my daughter, it was very nice the service from Sharon was excellent nothing was to much trouble , she has great people skills will definitely go again in the future

The Old Crown – Coventrynot up to normal standard..ordered rump steak Med to well done arrived in 2 pieces medium not cooked in middle sent it back..new steak arrived cooked to my requirements but only half the size of original steak.... ordered eton mess for desert unfortunately could`nt find the méringue... when we mentioned to waitress ..went back to chef answer from Chef Oh we are taking it off the menu !!!! this is not the usual standard for the old crown

The food was delicious and you could tell it was all homemade, chips were just like your mum made before frozen ones existed. Staff were lovely in particular a lady (can’t remember her name?) who was the life of the pub on what was a quiet night, she was so lovely and chatted to us for ages
