Christmas night out with 4 friends. Wonderful location, beautiful inside and out. Great food, friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend

Upon arrival, there wasn't anyone to greet us at reception we rang the door bell and waited a while before someone came. We weren't directed to the dining room but shown to a low seating area which was not ideal for eating. The afternoon tea arrived and fell somewhat short of our expectations and therefore we cannot recommend this venue ,especially as this gift was for our 50th anniversary.

Lovely different afternoon tea in a quirky setting. Highlights were the soup in the glass bottles and the fabulous scones.

The afternoon tea lived up to expectations based on the reviews we had read and also from the website. Well worth the money for a 'different' delicious afternoon tea - service was great too. A bit of a hidden gem we think!

We had an excellent afternoon Tea at the castle and were made very welcome by our hosts. The selection of items on the menu was well chosen and just a little different from the 'usual afternoon tea'. We especially liked the soup in a jar idea. It was January when we visited, so was quiet, but we loved the peaceful ands homely ambience of the castle. We would definitely recommend the castle and the afternoon tea.

The Afternoon Tea we had was amazing! Great selection of food, cakes were just right and the soup in the glass jar was a nice touch. Fabulous service. Will definitely be back. :)

Our second visit here and this time we stayed for two nights and ate in the Music Room on both evenings. The food is excellent and the dishes we ordered were a great combination of local ingredients, perfectly cooked with the added bonus of a great bunch of warm and welcoming staff. A perfect place to have dinner.

We enjoyed our afternoon tea at Augill Castle, the ambiance is welcoming and cosy . The food was very enjoyable and a little bit different to the normal afternoon tea. The scones were freshly baked and absolutely delicious. We were very well looked after and plentiful tea or coffee was served. We look forward to visiting again.

We really enjoyed our afternoon tea at Augill , the castle is lovely, we were in the dining room on our own with a roaring log burner. Staff were really friendly and nice. Afternoon tea was different from the norm which was really nice also. Would recommend if you want a different style of afternoon tea.

What a charming place for a weekend getaway. We stayed at Augill castle for the the new year break enjoying a sumptuous new years eve dinner. The afternoon tea was also a real treat on new years day. The accomodation was comfortable and spacious and the hospitality team was helpful and courteous. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended.

Afternoon tea at Augil Castle is really special , the staff are very good at being there when you need them but otherwise leaving you alone to enjoy the experience Just for a while you can pretend that the castle is all yours.

What a fantastic stay and the food was superb

We were a big group with several young children celebrating a birthday. We were warmly welcomed and the food was good. The children were catered for and their was space for them to entertain themselves. Service was food. Altogether a lovely evening.
