First time on Saturday evening over the bank holiday weekend. We were one of the last tables to eat and never once felt we were being rushed. We received a complimentary second dish which was a nice touch. Everything was tasty, ambience and atmosphere was fab. Already recommending to friends and will definitely be returning.

Visited on a Thursday eve, the building has clearly had a lot of money spent on it and looks amazing inside. The service was excellent, we had tapas which was superb, all dishes presented beautifully and tasted great. Thoroughly enjoyed our evening and will definitely return.

Went last night to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The restaurant is amazing, you wouldn’t think you were in Lower Darwen but a high end restaurant in Manchester. We shared six tapas and felt we’d had more than enough when we’d finished. Food was excellent. Service was also excellent, especially Holly. Went into the bar area after for drinks. Great atmosphere. We’ll definitely be returning.

From walking through the door and being greeted by the lovely staff we knew CDJ’s was going to be special and it was. The food was amazing. We will definitely be back for drinks in the lovely garden and next time we’ll try the tapas menu. It’s lovely to have something like this in our doorstep

Been coming to CDJs since the original opened in Darwen and the food never dissapoints. Service was spot on last night and food outstanding as usual.

Amazing food, amazing service. We visited at lunchtime and had the 2 course lunch menu; the chicken was delicious and the vegetarian option was a taste sensation! Would highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely be visiting again soon.

Our first time visiting and we enjoyed every aspect, beautiful setting, delicious food and attentive service. We sat at the chefs table and managed a quick chat with the main guy. We had steak and the strawberry panna cotta, the steak was cooked to perfection and the panna cotta was divine. Sitting at the chefs table allowed us to see all the other dishes being serviced. We are going to try the tapas next time and the beef short ribs, we can't wait. We enjoyed it so much we booked to return while we were still in the restaurant. Such a treat to have a decent restaurant withing easy distance from home. Thank you for a lovely evening, see you soon.

Great Venue Lovely ambience Excellent food, but needs to be served on warm plates. Cooled down far too quickly. Set lunch menu good value and good choice of dishes. Service better than first 2 visits, which was quite poor with problems caused by waitress not listening properly and billing problems! 3 attempts before correct bill received, tip of £65 added instead of bill being rounded to that amount. However, problems with coffee order, cold and far too strong, 10 minute delay between cups for each diner and told there was no chance of a pot of hot water. Had to request sugar which was delivered sulkily along with a small jug of hot water after second request. Lack of professionalism and experience of waiting staff could result in failure for a potentially great restaurant!

Food was beautifully presented & excellent quality, the atmosphere was relaxed & the service team were attentive - a lovely evening out.

We had a birthday meal at CDJ,somewhere special.The place is built and finished to a high standard so is a pleasure to be there.A lovely cocktail to start.I had tapas that were very good and my partner had a steak which was beautifully cooked.Good to see food being prepared freshly in the kitchen.Hope CDJ stays popular and does well.

We had a fantastic night at the chefs table, the food was excellent and it was great to watch the chefs at work. Will definitely return to try other dishes. The beef short rib and monkfish Wellington were my favourites! So nice to have great quality food and cocktails on our doorstep!

Visited CDJ at its new venue for the first time last night (Saturday evening) as a party of four!! Had pre & post dinner drinks in the bar, we had a lovely table under the sky light & by coincidence there were many other people in the restaurant who we knew so made it extra special ! Everyone we spoke to said that they loved it!! The food, drinks & atmosphere were truly wonderful!! Without doubt it is the best restaurant in the area, a real touch of class. Thanks Dan & the team for making such a huge investment in this new venture!! We had a perfect evening with good friends! We will certainly be visiting again & would recommend everyone who enjoys going out for a nice meal to give it a try. Cheers Chris & Debbie

Had heard all the hype and felt we needed to eat here. We weren’t disappointed. The staff were great and especially the young lad on front of house(didn’t get his name) but he was fantastic. He apologised for us having to sit at one of 2 tables in the bar area as it was a little noisy but it definitely didn’t spoil our night. We went for the tapas and wow it was delicious. We especially enjoyed the cauliflower dish but everything was cooked to perfection. We even got chance to speak with the chef and he also apologised for our table. This wasn’t necessary as it didn’t detract from the amazing food. Will definitely be back.

Came to CDJ for our anniversary, Dan and his staff were very attentive, sat at Chefs Table which was a brilliant experience. The food was amazing, every dish so full of flavour. Presentation of dishes fabulous. A perfect place to celebrate.

I booked CDJ not really knowing anything about it - it was primarily a handy venue for meeting up with a friend who was working in the area that day. And what a find it turned out to be. Gorgeous decor, great background music, and super-friendly staff. Food was terrific - I especially loved the Scotch egg! The only thing I can fault is not having a tea option for after the meal, as I am not a coffee drinker. But that's just a very minor niggle. It's about 35 mins' drive from my home, so I will definitely be back. Another jewel in the crown of exceptional dining in the Ribble Valley region.

We went for a birthday dinner, amazing food , nice portions, the staff were attentive & the venue is absolutely stunning. Looking forward to trying out the menus in the very near future, well done Dan & team!
