Food is amazing couldn't fault it! We suspect with it only just opening the staff are still to get into the swing of things as we waited a while to be served. Overall we enjoyed it and will return.

The best restaurant in town and is a must-go. From the restaurant/bar area, to the outside garden area it’s just incredible. Then you have the food! Delicious! Chef Dan Jolley and his team know how to cook and serve, just outstanding. I will most definitely be back!

Had a very enjoyable meal with great food from a verid menu. The service and staff were very good and attentive. All round a very good evening and will be going again soon .

We went to the rock with our friends, the staff were very polite and cheerful, we had starters , my wife order prawn saganaki, which was amazing, I ordered the honey glazed blackpudding, also really tasty, friends ordered the squid, again very tasty, we ordered pasta, the della cas was very tasty, the other pasta dishes were also very tasty, my friend ordered the pizza, would recommend the rock for a meal out, very tasty and prices are very reasonable, the landlady was very welcoming, she also said next month they will be putting my favourite back on the menu steak pudding,

A friend treated me to a meal at The Rock on my birthday last Thursday. I have to have gluten free. I had a lovely risotto with added chicken. Very tasty and filling. Staff were fantastic, polite and helpful. I even got to meet the chef too. So friendly and cheerful. I told my friend that I’d had one of the best birthdays ever. We both said we would definitely return to The Rock. Lovely staff and owners. Great atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. Make a booking you won’t be disappointed!

Great to see Rock open again. Booked a table for our anniversary. Very warm welcome when we arrived from the owner, staff very friendly,polite. Food was lovely,all had a starter&main&we were all stuffed. Could fit in a pud! We will definitely be back again.

What a come back! The place is all fresh and modernised while keeping the country vibe. Food was beautiful and staff were lovely.

From pulling up at this beautiful pub with stunning views and walking inside, we were met with friendly & attentive staff. Service was impeccable and the food was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was relaxing and staff inc the owners were around and making sure everyone was happy. Will be visiting again sooner rather than later, 5 stars from us.

Excellent food and the service was very good and there was a lovely atmosphere. Excellent value for money. Suitable for disabled people in the bar area . Well behaved Dogs are allowed. Large car park.

The food in here was lovely, hot and tasty, and very quickly delivered to our table, by the excellent friendly staff. The atmosphere was very relaxed and welcoming, and decore was clean and stylish. 10 out of 10 from us.

Had a lovely Sunday Roast at the Rock. Proper plateful! Beef , Yorkshire Pudding & lots of vegetables. Very tasty & filling. My other half had the Chocolate Fudge Cake with Icecream as his dessert, it was delicious! Staff very friendly & helpful. Well done the Rock.
