So we booked for Saturday on their website only to be challenged if we actually had made a booking. Then they insisted we showed proof via email. We sat down to be told it was a set menu, yet there was no note of this on their website. I’ve eaten here loads of times but won’t be going back after this shambles and no apology. The restaurant had nobody in it at all, yet they said they were fully booked.

We have been dining at Dhoom Dhaam since it first opened during Lockdown, when it started selling delicious takeaway, vegetarian street food. We have been many times since and have always beeen impressed with the unique menu, great cookery and attentive service. Unfortunately it seems to be on a sad decline if last night was anything to go by. Lets start withe basics - we arrived at our table for 7 people at 7.30....before 9pm we were told if we wanted more drinks we would have to order now as they had decided to close early as they werent busy enough. The lights started to go out soon after and we felt hurried to get out of the door. To me this is appalling. The sparkling water we ordered at the start never arrived despite a couple or reminders. The wine we ordered (from a list of 2 available bottles) was much lower quality than what we have enjoyed previously. It was in a cheap cooler and sat on the floor. the starters were ok but not as fresh and tasty as we remembered....and then mains were a real disappointment, lacking the finsesse and wow factor of old. I was like any standard curry house fayre...but at premium prices. The ladies toilets were a disgrace with a collapsed ceiling and not well cleaned. sad to say we wont be back...and if im honest, will be surprised if it its still there in 12 months with the high quality competition now springing up in the village.

Very welcoming and delicious food. Will definitely be visiting again.

The food was lovely and hot, not too spicy if you like it like that. Staff courteous and attentive. Would recommend it for any future patrons.

We eat nearly every week at the Art of Tea either on Friday or Sunday evening. It’s our favourite place to eat and has been for many years. The food is delicious and the special meals are so imaginative. We love the laidback atmosphere and the wonderful people that work there.

So we had the best curry ever at Dhoom tonight! The staff were so lovely and the restaurant is gorgeous but the food was DELICIOUS! 100% recommend to anyone and we will defo be back. Thanks guys xxx

This restaurant is transformed under its new management. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming and it’s full of real food lovers. The food is really delicious and the portions generous. The bar is very well equipped and the cocktails we had were spot on! The service, food and ambience all make it a lovely night out.

We came here for the first time for lunch. Upon entering the venue, we were greeted to a warm and vibrant atmosphere. There were people working and chilling and a pleasant ambience and decor. Behind the shop, there is a library of fine books of various topics and subjects which was a pleasant surprise. The food was excellent and great value for money and the staff very friendly and attentive. I will be going back again.
